I always come to this gym, I really like it but unfortunately today I saw a very unfair act, I don't know the names of the gentlemen so they will be Mr. A and Mr. B, and Mr. A is a friend of one of the employees there, he had the bars of weights, and he had another exercise station for himself (Mr. A) Unfortunately, some of the other weight bars were useless. I feel that it is not fair that someone has those bars for more than an hour without using them all the time. An older man comes, who is Mr. B, moves Mr. A's bottle water that he had next to the bar and looks everywhere, no one said anything to him until Mr. A finished his exercise in the other machine, he comes and yells at Mr. B put back put back horrible yelling at him and I even got nervous. After that, Mr. B got angry as the other man spoke to him, he went to file a complaint with the employee's Mr. (who is a friend of Mr. A), he did nothing. But Mr. B continued to fight with Mr. A. He kept bothering him, the employee friend of Mr. A came and yelled twice at Mr. B to leave the Mr. alone. (That supposedly bothered the rest of us who exercised) So I don't understand why when Mr. B was disrespected or continue argument and Mr. A seemed like the owner of the gym, because he treats people bad way, but if he yells at Mr. B. I honestly disagree that Mr. B should have continued with the problem when he saw that the employee did nothing, he should have called the corporation. But I understand in the end he called the police because he despaired of so many injustices. Mr. A shouldn't have talked to him like that, I was close and I got super nervous, he scared me. Read moreI recently joined this location after being a member of Lifetime Fitness for 7 years and I have to say I am really happy with my decision. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic Lifetime didn’t really make sense anymore for my busy lifestyle since they reduced hours, halted most of the amenities and kept charging the same amount for monthly dues, and all they offered was for members to freeze account until January at no cost. They are doing great with adhering to the health and safety guidelines set by the state. Yes they do allow guest to workout without a mask as long as you at at your machine. However if you are walking around the facility, it is mandatory to wear the mask. I have to say, it is no different from Lifetime Fitness and this location do a much better job, because at Lifetime the guest still workout without a mask or pulled down and the team can’t do any about it, because guest feel privileged and do what they want. I feel safer at this gym than Lifetime Fitness or any other gym I have visited before making my decision to join Plant Fitness Columbia. This Planet Fitness location in Columbia is clean, their staff is always cleaning the equipment, the facility, changing the trash, making sure locker rooms and bathroom is clean, they are friendly, and welcoming . I gave in the moment positive feedback to the manger Craig, and he was very welcoming and professional. If all you require is a clean facility that offers working equipment to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and your not looking for a social hour, then don’t hesitate to join, you won’t be disappointed and the cost isn’t bad either. Read moreI’m a little disappointed that this PF location overcharged me annual twice and didn’t let me know, the first one the gave me refund but a day after that, they charged me 54 dollars 40 days ago(39 annual fee and 15 dollars late fee). I didn’t even notice that. I already paid my annual fee back in August and I have never changed my payment information, I don’t know why they said the transaction didn’t go through last month and I have to pay for the late fee. If the monthly payment didn’t go through, why did the late fee and another annual go through my account. And I pretty much come to the gym every day, I love the gym and staff here, I didn’t have any issues entering the gym. If my payment was messed up 40 days ago, at least let me know so we can avoid the late fee. I fixed payment issue yesterday I, they said they will refund me 39 dollars because I already paid for the annual fee in August, but they can’t refund the 15 dollars late fee because that’s long time ago, I don’t know what to say, my monthly payment was going fine from June to September and I don’t know how was it not working in October and no one has ever told anything about it every I enter the gym😔😔😔 This thing has been really annoyed me today I don’t want to blame anyone, it’s not the staff’s fault, they’ve been very friendly and supportive, I hope they can fix the problem as they promised, I do not want to pay another late fee anymore.
