Wonderful customer service, especially Mark at the front desk.
The room was nice, slightly smaller than I expected but it did have a decent sized couch (it was a sleeper but didn't explore that option) for chilling on, or in our case, where the laundry hung out. The bed was nice and comfy, and between that and the curtains blocking the light we enjoyed a few extra hours of much needed rest. There was a small balcony, that had a tightly placed palstic chair in one side. Outside of the gorgeous view of the parking lot, there were plenty of trees to stare off upon, if you need a break of nature without actually venturing into it.
The biggest complaint, was I couldn't find an ice machine that worked for the life of me. I went up and down 3 floors like I was in a Benny Hill skit. Floor I was on? No ice. Next floor? handful of ice... Next floor after that? Still no ice. Granted there was a concert that weekend, so maybe that was why the ice machines were out of order?
The bathroom was clean, with a tub/shower setup. Was a nice size, with a separate sink/mirror set up outside, with the mini fridge and coffee maker set-up right across from it.
They do have breakfast but we did not make it to it sadly. Nor did we get to check out the pool etc, even though that was the main reason for staying there (outside of the closeness to where we were going).
If you're a foodie, there's quite a few restaurants right down the street, as well as a Wegmans, if you're just trying to grab something light and premade. There are also a few places to shop nearby, but we didn't have the time (this time) to make it anywhere sadly. Would stay again, especially if you're attending a nearby show (hopefully yours goes better than ours). Just a heads up -- it will be cheap to get to the nearby concert venue, but the return trip will take a bit and be probably 3x more than it took to get there.
All in all a good clean hotel, with great customer service. However the breakfast and the pool etc amenities you'll have to venture to find out. They do have a convenience store right next to the check in if you need a late...
Read moreHotel was a great stay. Staff was super friendly and helpful the entire stay. Rooms were spacious and clean. Shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The only negative that I need to discuss was in relation to the breakfast coffee restaurant on site - which I was told by the front desk was not affiliated with the hotel. A separate entity perhaps but non the less, when we checked in we were giving 2 complimentary breakfast cards for the next morning. Upon further review, the cards only listed coffee, juice, cereal and bagel as what was offered. So my son went down to order a breakfast sandwich with my credit card for him and a coffee for me with the comp card. He was charged $13.78 so I am assuming he was charged for the coffee too as that would be the most expensive breakfast sandwich I've heard of. Had about 45 minutes before he was heading off to soccer game, plenty of time. 20 mins goes by, 25, then over 30 mins and still not food or coffee. Its now time to go and he texts me that he never received his food or my coffee but he has to leave. I go down to talk to the one employee doing her best to run the counter and say at this point, I would just like my money back. She tells me no can do, because she gave my son his food already. I explain to her that did not happen. She argues with me and is adamant that she gave him the sandwich. She was so sure that she gave him the food based on the facts that he was a 15 year old boy with poofy curly hair - which is the national haircut for that age group in 2025. This discussion went no where, no refund was giving so I just left as I had to catch his game. The front desk woman overheard all of this conversation and said while she couldn't do anything about a refund, she graciously offered me 14$ worth of snacks/drinks from the front desk store. I thanked her but declined her offer as that was not the resolution I was looking for at that point. So long story short, great hotel, just don't recommend visiting the breakfast...
