This is the most disorganized/unpleasant Wendy's I have ever visited. I ate here 2x 4 days apart. I thought the problems were a fluke the first time but the 2nd visit was even worse. On my 2nd visit, I used the drive thru. An irritated male ordered me to wait to place my order. Less than a minute later, a female asked for my order. I started to order when the male broke in ordering me to wait. I wasn't sure if there were crossed wires (although there's only 1 lane here) so I stopped. Again, the female asked for my order. Again the male broke in and ordered me to wait. At that point, I suggested they get their heads together & decide who was working the drive thru. The female apologized for the confusion & asked me to complete my order. So, order placed, finally. I arrived at the window to pay. I had a $20 bill & the loose change for my order. The young girl at the window was unsure how to proceed. Someone else came to the register & made change - I received $14 all in $1 bills! The visit before I received $15 in $1 bills.
I took my food & drove back to the house. I looked in the bag & realized I didn't have my complete order so I headed back over. I went into the store & stood in line for 5 minutes. I got up to the counter & explained the situation. The woman at the register rolled her eyes, said "talk to her" & yelled "next" at what seemed to be the top of her lungs. I explained the problems to the next woman - I didn't receive the chocolate milk or dipping sauce for the chicken in the kids meal & the apples were discolored. She rolled her eyes & while I was trying to tell her what I wanted, she walked off. I assume she went to the drive through or kitchen to chastise someone but I was left standing at the counter. When she came back, she did ask what I wanted but it seemed forced. I asked for chocolate milk, sweet & sour sauce & fries in place of the apples. She dug through her sauces and said she didn't have that one. I tried honey mustard. Nope. Ranch? No. I suggested she check the drive through or in the back. She wandered off and was gone for so long that I thought I had been dismissed. Eventually she came back with a single packet of ranch dressing. I asked for my milk. She rummaged around in the fridge across from the counter, found a milk & slammed it on the counter. It was white milk so I asked if she didn't have chocolate. "NO!" Okay, definitely not a good day for this woman & I was only going to make it worse by asking for fries to replace the apples but I asked any way. She huffed & rolled her eyes - again - but I just stood there like I hadn't heard her. Off she wandered again. She finally came back with fries & started to put them on the bare counter. I pushed my bag forward and asked her to put them in the bag. She kindly did, upside down! When I finally got back to the house & sat down to eat, everything, including the fries I'd received less than 5 minutes before, was stone cold. The junior burger was so overcooked, the edges were black & hard. The pickles were not the usual & were probably from the grocery store. There was so much mustard on the burger that it was running off the edges before I even picked it up. The chicken strips were cold but okay. The fries were all little bits & pieces, not one longer than 3/4 of an inch & every one was cold. I considered calling the store manager at a later time but since this happened at lunch on a Friday, he/she was probably there while all this was going on. For all I know, the woman at the counter rolling her eyes was the manager. She had on a Wendy's shirt but no name tag so who knows. If I knew who owned this location, I would call them but since I didn't receive a receipt, I don't have that information. To sum up this very long review, AVOID THIS LOCATION OF WENDY'S if at...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews, but I wanted to reaffirm some of the past reviews with more details of my visit. I ordered on the mobile app to pick up through the drive-through. Now, granted, it was a little late, around 10 pm. We went to the drive-through and we were told that it was a shift change so they could not take our order. We informed them that we had a mobile order, so they said that we could come inside to get it. We parked our car and tried to go inside, but the door was locked. Eventually, a manager (I’m assuming) let us in. We sat at a table waiting for our order. One of the workers put an order that was not mine on the counter. The manager, an older man, asked us if we had a mobile order. I said yes, but we have not gotten it yet. He said, “It’s right here.” and gestured to the order that wasn’t mine. I said, “No, that’s not mine” and he said “Yes it is, right here, DoorDash” and I told him I did not use DoorDash. Then he said “Let me see your order.” So I pulled up my receipt on the app for him, and he just stared at it. Two other workers came over to look at the order. One of the girls said “We completed that order” and just looked at me. I said, “Well, I didn’t get it” and told her that they told me to come inside to get my order. So, it appears they might have given my original order to someone else. Eventually they got my order together, but the cup they initially gave me (picture attached) was sticky and had stuff in it. I thought that was pretty gross. Also, they were going to let me walk away without a baked potato that I had ordered. After I asked about it, they told me that they were out and if I wanted something else, so I ended up with baconator fries which is fine by me. I try to be very charitable with my thinking when it comes to fast food, as I’ve worked in fast food before, and I know how difficult it is. Especially given staff shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic. But, I will say that the manager and the employees were really rude, and their tone and attitude towards me was unnecessary given it was not my fault. I wanted to highlight one worker who definitely went above and beyond to make sure our order was correct, Sophia or Sofia (not sure of the spelling) was prompt, friendly, and accurate. While this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Wendy’s, she was the...
Read moreWell, well Wendy you screwed me today Wendy! I went there just before 5:00 pm which means a shift change over. And you know what that means extreme "KAOS" ! I waited 15 minutes before I even ordered. People leaving without their relief because they were ready to go home. And customers were looking around like who the "hell" is running this business? And when I finally was able to order I still waited 10 more minutes for just my burgers to come out. Fries where cold, did not get my drink. I counted two key personnel leaving before their shift was over. One came back from smoking his cigarette, because he blew smoke coming in the door. Did not see him wash his hands. And the second guy came back and didn't wash his hands either. I watched him when he came in too, plastic gloves would have sa- fised for me. This Wendy's on Bush River Road across from Chick Fila needs proper sanitary training among all employees especially on the front line. And untill your replacement has clocked in and wash their hands and taken care of the rush that came in at that time "NO ONE LEAVES!" Until all orders get to normal levels to handle the shift! Management needs to have personnel overlap the shifts by 15 minutes to cover the...
