Our experience was so bad that I came to look at reviews to see if others had the same problem and sure enough, they have! The “Old lady” (as everyone refers to her on here), finally came to the door to let us inside and immediately wanted to know if we had a color in mind. When we said “no” she said, “NO?!” As though it’s against some unknown rule to not have 1 color in mind. It was my sister, niece, daughter and myself shopping for dresses for my daughter and niece. My daughter immediately walked up to a dress she liked and when I told her we'd try it on, the old lady popped in and grabbed the tag of the dress and said "This is $600...." And I said "okaaaay" and she said "is that okay?" Like, yes lady! I saw the price from the beginning and I've already said okay! I guess she thought that we looked like we couldn't afford to be in there, that was certainly the implication. She kept coming in the dressing room wanting to know if we found what we wanted yet, totally rushing us, acting like they were busy or about the close (it was 2pm on Saturday and we were the only people in the store, there was no reason for her to act so impatient). The girls chose their dresses and went to look at earrings and apparently that was another major inconvenience for the lady, as she huffed and puffed and rushed us, yet again. I got home and told my son’s girlfriend how rude the old woman is at Dazzles and she said she had the same experience there, but she left and spent her money at Greg Mackenzies (or whatever that place is called that’s close by). Had I known there was another shop close by, I would’ve left, too. I hate that I bought a dress from this place and it will never...
Read moreTheir sales manager was very rude. She started off greeting me politely and asked me if she could help me with anything. I told her I'm looking for a formal/prom dress size 0 in my budget. She asked what my budget was and I asked her if she had anything below $200. After I said that her response was "Well you're never going to find anything below $200 for a prom dress in any place you go..." in a really snobby tone and walked off. I just didn't feel welcome even looking around after that. I had a nice employee help me try a on a few dresses at least. Overall this place was very over priced and very rude. I don't recommend even walking in there if you don't have at least $600 just lying around in your purse/wallet... or if you're anything below 5 ft -forget it. It also seemed like all their dress lengths were made to fit someone as tall as your average model being 6 ft... -maybe in the high 5 foot range. After 2 try ons I left out of there quickly. Oh and the manager was wrong... -I went someplace else and found something for $99 and far better then anything this place...
Read moreI have now purchased 2 competition gowns from Dazzles. I did my first pageant in my mid 30's and had no idea where to even start to look for a gown. I did some research and ended up at Dazzles. Jill, the owner, spent hours with me to help me find a dress. She went the extra step and taught me the proper way to pose in evening gown. I just recently bought my second gown from her, and my experience was the same. She brought me dress after dress to try on and worked with me to find earrings to match and took photos and video to show me how I photographed in the gown. Her attention to detail and her commitment to helping each woman find the dress perfection for the occasion is second to none. I highly recommend Dazzles, you won't be disappointed and if you're a pageant newbie like I was, you may even...
