Arby's — Restaurant in Columbus

I was just in the drive thru about 20 mins ago, i had ordered a turkey bacon blt( not by choice, but due to the fact they informed me their milk shake machine was down and they were out of beef... As well as their general manager quit roughly a week ago) now with that being said they had told me they would give me their last cherry turnover desert pastry for free, which didnt really make matters any better because i had originally went there to order a milk shake over all, but besides all that they didnt give me what i originally ordered. I am a truck driver and i had already had a bad experience earlier in the day with bob evans, and nearly every other drive thru and restraunt places informed me that their milk shake machines were down so i have already been pretty upset with my experiences on south high street period. ( which quite honestly i hadnt had any higher expectations in the area anyways, but thats besides the point. ) my sandwhich consisted of burnt bacon a slice of tomato and a peice of lettace, so you could say considering the fact i had ordered turkey on my sandwhich, I am not happy at all, I really didnt want Arby's anyways but I am tired so i settled for the sandwhich, so when i got back to my room, and realized it was all wrong, i called them ( now i had forgot to mention i was joking with the young girl whom took my order in my expierence... I was being concerning and sentimental with what she had originally mentioned about recently losing their manager as well as just getting back to work after she had been in the hospital, I was trying to make her day a little better due to what she was going thru) when they answered the phone the young female on the other end of the phone unsure if it was the same one whom took my order and such was completely rude and unsetteling, she told me I was in the wrong and that she gave me what i ordered, that they didnt have a turkey blt on the menu, and like I had told her either way i ordered turkey on the sandwhich, she went on to say "I didnt hear that when you ordered" (no sorrys, or even an atempt to fix the issue and put my mind at ease she was just flat out rude) Now most who work, or have worked in customer service know that " THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, PERIOD, NO QUESTIONS ASKED" So i hung up, I will not go back there and i encourage everyone else to steer clear of the South High Street Arbys location in Columbus Ohio! Have a blessed and wonderful...

Generally I wouldn't review a standard chain place like Arby's/Wendy's/Taco Bell/McDonalds, but since I live right around the corner from these particular 4 locations Google keeps asking me to, so let's just get it over with...

Arby's is honestly trash. It's the most expensive in its class of garbage fast food joints and that makes it trash. It's like the best trash in the class. Nothing is fantastic, lots of things are bad, and the seasonal menu items routinely disappoint. Plus an hour later you feel massive regret for eating Arby's, which is technically food.

Alright with those things said Arby's chocolate milk shake is much better than McDonald's and they do the best mozzarella sticks of any of these chains, the chicken strips are ok, and the buffalo chicken slider is acceptable for a quick snack when the light is red at that intersection, sans the ranch sauce. Arby's also has pretty decent turnovers, and for a few monthsa year arctic orange shakes are in and those are delicious...but they will ruin your stomach, because Arby's is honestly trash.

The service at this particular location is markedly better than everything located on the other side of the street, but not as good as the Wendy's I'm about to review next, which has the best service in this whole godforsaken...

Roast Beef is delicious at this location and so are their turnovers for those of us with a sweet tooth for something a little different & good. However they don't have any available to order about every day no matter if they just opened or if its early evening. Late night lol, forget about it. Apparently its really complicated and irritating to keep a few turnovers available and pretend they dont hate you and seem to blame the customers because they don't like their job. If someone was ever polite to a customer here i think we'd be seriously concerned and think they had to have done something disgusting to our food and that brought them a slither of momentary pleasure. The hours are always posted wrong. They close when they want to leave and don't honor their posted hours. They are very rude and act like you are a thorn in their side they don't want to be bothered by because how dare you possible desire a condiment or anything civilized like a napkin...you should lick your hands clean, how dare you interrupt the tic-toc videos they are shooting. if they are going above and beyond for you here, leave and eat somewhere else because something...
