I used to live this location. However, the employees at this store are extremely rude and so not care about the customers at all. There are 2 men that work there and they are she worst! The one man (white, with longer bushy black hair, has a beard, looks rather unkempt) laughed at me when I said I wish they would bring back the plastic bags. He said paper was better for the earth. I said "save the trees" he laughed and said "whatever". He did not greet me when I went to check out. No have a nice day, nothing!
On my last visit, the same guy was going around the store shouting that the store was closing in 10 minutes. Doesn't the store have an intercom? Also, the cashier during this visit was very rude also. He was a young black/African American man. He also did not greet me or say anything. He gave me my total and shoved my cart over to where you bag groceries. This angered me because I still have my purse and other things in the cart I was using (He put my stuff in a new cart). I like to get all my stuff together then take my cart to the bagging station. I told him that was rude and he snickered and gave me attitude. Plus he just threw my items in the cart. No regard for anything!
I'm seriously considering not shopping at this location. It is the closest to my home but the Grove City location is much...
Read moreI really like this store. Good quality food, good prices, the employees are great. But you have this one security contractor who likes following me around. I get it, he's supposed to do security, but he really needs some training. as security, I would expect him to have at least a little bit of street smarts. People who draw attention to themselves because they look unusual are not likely to be up to funny business. I realize that he's a contractor so I'm not letting it color my view of Aldi's. This is the fourth time being in this particular store where he's followed me around. And he's trying to be clever about it and not look too obvious, but it's really obvious and he's annoying. It's borderline insulting... Like being called a thief. if he's going to try profiling people, then he really needs to be more observant. (This is me really holding back...
Read moreI usually shop at other Aldi stores [in northern Franklin County] because they are far closer to where I live.
However, I had traveled to the South High Branch Library recently [10-18-2018] so that I would be able to attend a meeting so I had decided to visit the Aldi on S. High St. before my meeting because that Aldi had been so close to that library [and also is within view of Los Mariachis Mexican restaurant where I had eaten supper].
I do not see well. One of the things that I really like about the Aldi company is that items are on the shelves in nearly the same location in each Aldi.
So I had walked along the entrance aisle of this completely-new-to-me Aldi for perhaps thirty feet and had easily found the Moser Roth chocolates in nearly the same location as where they are located in most of the other...
