My family loves a good Chinese buffet. We used to visit this place pretty frequently prior to the pandemic. It has gone way down hill. When we arrived the parking lot was almost empty and sort of seemed abandoned. When we entered the place just looked rundown and unkempt. We were seated relatively quickly. Our drinks were served and we were off to make our plates. The food had been sitting there for quite a while. Food items were stuck to their trays and some things had gotten mushy and some too hard for consumption. The rice almost felt uncooked, but it had just been sitting out. Vegetables had gotten so soft and unpleasant to eat. We filled our plates with our favorite dishes and were immensely disappointed. Barely any cold dishes like crab salad. The lettuce was covered in ice, just very unappealing. And for 4 adults the total was $65. I paid cash and the server short changed me by $2. She said I was wrong when I asked for the rest of my change. She went to grab my total sheet and came back with the remainder of my change, instead. Unfortunately I didn't...

TLDR: I'm a (weekly) regular and have never seen anything the 1* reviews are talking about. Best Chinese buffet in Columbus.

For context, so you understand my idea of a good Chinese buffet--I am a very active person who was born lucky with regards to metabolism and lack of dietary restrictions, so I have never had to worry about how many or what kind of calories I eat. I like salty and saturated fat (which any good Chinese buffet has lots of).

I love Chinese buffets and have been a regular to whatever ones are in my current city (I move around a bit), I tried 3 others in Columbus and this is the best. I go almost every Friday to treat myself for getting through the week and have never seen anything described in the negative comments.

Staff is polite, the place is dated--but clean, and the food is exactly the type of tasty/salty/fried goodness you go to a Chinese buffet for. Very well priced too. Haters gonna hate, Chinese buffet lovers gonna love.

*Obviously going when they first open or at peak hours will get you fresher food, but...

We walled in and we were aggressively approached by 2 workers to pay now. I asked why and they try to change the tone and said I asked. I said no I didn't. Then she said Oh I mean some people want to pay now. She went on to tell me its 18.00 or 16.00 adults and 6.99 kids. I never asked you how much it was! She said you think its regular price. I said NO I dont think nothing cause I've never been here just passing by. All the black people and the not so well dressed white families were asked too pay now and leave a tip before we ate. I said I'm sitting down to eat. It was 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 kids. The crab legs were extra with the food. 10 legs goes with the food anything extra is 6.99 or 3.99 per 10. People were so uncomfortable and felt violated. The workers surrounded all our tables so we could run if we wanted to. I'm 50 + years old and I bet I dont run for NO reason. I will NEVER go there again and I should have went to...

Food is old and cold do not recommend eating here they don’t check the food all the servers do is talk to each other instead of removing the bad food the Mac n cheese was old and watery some food was ok but the wontons looked like they have sat for hours also they had a tv some people like It but I expected music to Match the theme of the restaurant but that’s just my opinion $16.99 per adult the price is to high for the quality of the food and service

For the seafood lovers, you will know IMMEDIATELY why this is disgusting. You want dried out wontons to pour underseasoned soup over, so overcooked and dried out "fried chicken wings" that your teeth crack, then go ahead. Otherwise, steer clear and save the dental bill.
