Carryout is this spots bread & butter.
There are constantly doing carryout business. So why have they not perfected it? Employees even verbally complain about each other. "He didn't even get a name". "She didn't put in the order correct". They use a computer. There is so much software available to make ordering correct. They could even get a service to do online ordering for them. I would believe that all the food delivery services that I see, would probably appreciate order accuracy.
Dine in was mediocre service. The tables were dirty and not bused. Even after they cleaned ours, we had the privilege of dining with the scenery of dirty tables around us for the entire visit. It's off-putting when a server picks up a pitcher of water from one of these tables to refill your glass. Now imagine the sauce and crumbs, sticking to the bottom of the vessel, that is hovering above your plate. I was not pleased with my average tasting food on that visit. Several guests had delicious meals that I tasted.
Back to carryout visits.
My favorite is the same as others mention. Hot Spicy Chicken Wings (10 pcs) Breaded deep-fried chicken wings sauteed with green onion and chili peppers($8.95). Served with side of rice. When I first heard that I must try these, I made the mistake of seeing the appetizer version of 4pc chicken wings($4.50). I ordered 4 of these by phone, saying "Hot Spicy Chicken Wings". Yep! that was a $36 mistake. Oh well, they were delicious. Be aware that these are not wet wings. These deep fried, battered wings are seasoned and shaken with spices and chili peppers. The rice was embarrassing. Fried is slightly brown with overly salty soy sauce. A very minor smattering of peas, egg, green onion, if at all. The white was sticky, firm, and unwilling to separate. Many under-cooked, crunchy pieces.
I think I need to switch to a noodle dish. Good, not the best. The wings really bump this an entire...
Read moreAs a chinese food lover and looking at the great reviews i took my collegues to this place for lunch. we arrived at 12:10 PM and been seated immediately. we ordered our food at 12:15 PM and waiting for it. we waited up to 12:40PM and requested our waitress to check on our order as one of us have to attend 1:00 PM meeting. she went to check and came back with soup which she forgot and said it will take another 5 min. around 12:52 my friend got frustrated and asked the front desk associate ( i belive manager or owner) its been 40 min we are waiting on our food. can you check please? that guy response " No Its not 40 min" we got shocked with his reponse and when asked what it is then ? he repeated "No Its not 40 min, its gonna take another 5 min and you have to wait???????? we thought of leaving immediately but we already consumed our lunch time with out eating so just sat there helpless. our food arrived 10 min later. friend who was upset finished his lunch in less than 5 min and left early to catch up the meeting. we decided we will not tip because of the poor service and arrogant attitude of this manager. when we are leaving the counter after paying this arrogant guy called us back and suggesting us " when you eat out you have to tip the waitress!!!!!!!!!!" really????? i asked him do you know why we tip waitress? and do you know how to manage an upset customer ?? His Response " Who Cares ?????????" when i told him "i think you should care because its your business" he repeated " Who Cares?? ?? some of you Never Tip ??(i dont know what does he mean some of you being racist??????) then we thought its pointless to discuss with him any more and walked out. Simple apology when asked about the delay would have been appropriate. if he doesnot have minimum sense its truly no point. we are NEVER going back to this PLACE. food is ok but not met my expectations, may be his arragance...
Read moreGot the ckn fried rice. It was very tasty and plenty. I highly recommend this dish if you order this dish often at other places. However if you're not local watch out. They cater to the locals and could care less about those out of town visiting and trying their food. I had an issue with no cutlery with my food. I'm staying in a hotel with no food service due to covid. I was recommended to try this place out. Food is great. I called to simply express my concern about having purchased food from them and was not given anything to eat it with. The lady was rude to me when I called in to ask them if it was customary to leave out utensils she stated that that customers have to ask for it. She obviously didnt care about my concern so I asked for a manager Manager gets on and said that most customers are local and have them at home. Haha,...
