This place is not what it is hyped up to be. I went here and one girl was too busy talking to customers about her "relationship problems" than she was about doing her job! After she finally came to take my order (which she didn't get right) she proceeded to write down what I wanted...until she began chatting away with people again. At this point I become really impatient with her and ask if she can get the rest of my order. She ignores me and eventually comes back around to take my order. She then sets my pizza on the table and chats while completely forgetting to put it in the oven. At this point I have been here 25 minutes and paid for food that has yet to even see the oven. After 10 minutes of waiting I ask another worker if they can place my pizza in the oven. They actually listened to me and did. Now, I do not know the normal time for a pizza to cook at blaze, but I think 25 minutes is well overcooked. I repeatedly asked the workers to take it out but they were busier chatting and on their cell phones. Once she finally took my pizza out of the oven, it was EXTREMELY and obviously burnt to anyone who has ever eaten pizza. However, this woman proceeds to take a slice of the pizza and eat it, telling me that it is "Just perfectly cooked!" while smiling at me. This was the last straw, I grabbed my burnt pizza and walked out of the restaurant and will never return. My girlfriend has the blaze iphone app and one night we ordered pizza from this place through their app that said they were still open. It not only charged her credit card but was showing that the food was in the process. Within 30 minutes we got a text that said your order has been canceled but we were confused because it charged her credit card (about $30). We ended up trying to call the store which was not picking up and eventually we called the pickup in store option on the phone for blaze and asked what happened to our order and the kid said he doesn't know he only handles pick up orders so he tried forwarding us to the store again and we got no answer. So finally we tried driving by the store to just pick it up and there was a piece of paper sign on the door that said their new hours for the summer. But yet the iphone app AND the "pickup" line did not have these "new" hours in their system. We ended up emailing blaze for this location and claimed we would get a refund well over a month ago within a few days. Nothing ended up happening so we emailed again and forwarded the first message back to them asking about the refund, still nothing. Now it has been a month and 3 weeks that we asked for the refund so we emailed again attaching the entire previous email chain. STILL NO RESPONSE. Read moreI went to Blaze for the 1st time Sunday night. I ordered online and arrived a few minutes after the time it told me to pick up. When I arrived I saw the young lady boxing my 1st pizza. We ordered 2 take 2 specials with the mozzarella salad. About 15 minutes later I asked about my 2nd pizza and the salads. The young lady that was baking and finishing the pizzas (really wish I'd gotten her name) inquired about it for us. They said only half of the order came through, but quickly found it. They remade the 1st pizza, got the 2nd, and man was it worth the mistake and wait!! Pizza is my thing. I have had pizza from all over the country and it really was the best pizza I've had maybe ever! I got white sauce, mozz, bacon, goat cheese, and arugula with a balsamic drizzle! Absolutely 💯 amazing! It quickly took my rating right back to a 5! As a restaurant m!anger, the only advice I can give is if you have that much foot traffic and that much online business, you really should have a system that prints the receipts separately and hire 1-2 more people to do just online orders. I did see you were hiring so that's probably something you thought of! Only 1 thing could make this place better, and that's opening a store in Cleveland!
