Captain D's — Restaurant in Columbus

So I came into this location on Tuesday May 14th at about 8:15 a.m.. ordered a 20 piece butterfly shrimp which cost me somewhere around $20. I even told the cook beforehand what I was ordering because I also work in the kitchen and I know how sometimes we like to have a heads up. The Cook acknowledges the 20 piece butterfly and then the young lady proceeded to take my order. Instead of the 20 piece butterfly I received four piece butterfly with two chicken, two hush puppies, macaroni and cheese and broccoli. Clearly not what I ordered!!! I tried to call and let them know there was a mess up and no one answered the phone. Realizing how restaurants work cuz I work in one I didn't think they would answer the phone so I just took a picture of my food and figured I would pick it up with them tomorrow since I always come this route. Instead of admitting that they were wrong and correcting the situation I was instead hit with "if you don't have a receipt we can't replace the meal. After letting sue know that the employee did not give me a receipt she still insisted on not giving me what I ordered even after showing her what I received. I thought the customer was always right but apparently I was wrong. I even offered to show her the transaction on my bank account to prove I didn't need a free meal and I did make a transaction here yesterday which she refused. No argument... I asked for her corporate number, her name and her...

2017/16/07 If possible this place would receive negative stars. I walked out within two minutes.

I received in a baritone voice, "How you doin sir?" from somewhere I couldn't see. Neither the lady or guy behind the counter had spoken but started chuckling until I approached the counter and asked, "I'm okay. Should I ask?" She asked what I wanted to order instead of a reply. I turned around and there were two other people sitting on the bench. There was a comment from the person on the left of the bench being there without his shirt on. I turned back to the counter and asked, "Should I ask?" She looked at me, bit her bottom lip and didn't answer. I turned and left while hearing, "What's his problem?" from the same voice that greeted me.

I'll re-review this place tonight.

My previous experience was ordering a chicken dinner with green beans, broccoli and fries. I received the chicken, green beans and cole slaw. There was one other table eating. There was a larger order of about $40 from the drive through window and none at the drive through speaker. I am allergic to mayonnaise (and mustard) and returned what I could not eat. Oh my god !! What can I say .. Yesterday was the first time I had ever eaten there. It delivered the food was amazaing now I'm hooked so good and half the price of Long John Silvers . I mean 6 shrimp add on with my fisher dinner super cheap feed 4 adults with extras for 25.00 I spend 45 to 50.00 at Long John Silvers Which to be honest it's ok not my fav when eating. Not fish person but I put away some shrimp. The staff was amazaing . I asked them honest opinion about the food there before to buy . They didn't dissapoint. It's a shame they are not so busy there. It's not a food issue or customer service problem. I think it's the awkward location. It's kinded in awkward place that's why never neen before kind of hidden away.
