Stopped by for lunch with my son today while letting him play hooky from school and let him have a fun day. We have been wanting to try it out for a while, but always forgot about it. When we walked in, you could tell it was going to be something special, just from the "vibe" and looks of the place. If you are a pizza connoisseur, the menu will be a pleasant surprise alone, based on the wide variety. I've always been a huge fan of Mellow Mushroom's Buffalo Chicken pizza with bacon. So, with that high standard, I ordered a small version of it here, and my son went with the old reliable small pepperoni. I ordered the cheesy bread to snack on while we waited. Great cheesy bread, and I happened to notice the Nutella Pie on the dessert menu, and right below it, I saw the same but in a calzone. I ordered both to go for some sweet snacks later. A short wait later, our pizza arrived, and the presentation was spot on. I waited patiently a bit for it to cool off, and so did my son. We've been burned enough to know better 🤣. It surely was worth it. They nailed it, because the crust isn't as thick and the flavor is perfect. I think they just edged out my all-time favorite. Evan agreed with me. The small is enough for 2 people, as it comes as 4 large slices. We both took half home, along with half of the cheezy bread and desserts.I can't comment on those yet, as we ate the leftover pizza and cheezy bread for supper and can't eat anymore. I was a bit disappointed that I didnt get the Nutella Calzone that I ordered, as it was a normal one. The Nutella Pie looks simply AMAZING with the chocolate sauce, fresh strawberries, and bananas. The workers in here are racist and rude! I work part time for DoorDash never had a complaint from a customer or restaurant ever. As I walked in I overheard ppl in the back talking about me as i waited at the front with no help i turned around walked out the door and unnassigned from the order on the app. Mind you all it does is send the order to the next dasher within seconds. I get in my car a heavyset guy comes outside with the order i already told them i wasn’t delivering. He walked to my window trying to give me the order and stood at my window. I then told him I wasn’t and I didn’t have to….. the day “cerrone pizza” gives me a car + gas and a W2 I would greatly take there orders for them. As I backed up trying to leave he still has the food in his hand trying to give it to me he then flicks me off after he finally gets the message I wasn’t delivering the food because of there piss poor entitled behavior. He also told me it was a me problem which it’s actually not and I can tell he has no idea how DoorDash works 🤣🤣🤣 you want me to deliver food for you while talking trash 😭😭😭 he proceeded to yell at me while approaching me with racist slurs so I pulled out my phone and started to record him. First time here and had a new server up front, she was super sweet and polite. I had asked if my specialty pizzas would be the traditional style and she said “they should be” , I did double check with another girl and she said my pizzas were in the oven already and the were the old world style. I was kind of bummed, not because that style didn’t look appetizing, it looked really good but I’m really weird about trying new foods and instantly got anxiety and sadness but I said it was ok and she went to talk to the manager for me. I was going to accept it and leave it where it was, I’m not big on making people feel horrible about themselves for a simple mistake 😂😂 I make mistakes all the time at my job. She came out and said they were remaking them for me, they didn’t have to do that and from the bottom of my heart I truly appreciated it. A little faith in humanity was restored today at Cerrones. The pizza is amazing. The staff is so sweet and kind and seems to go above and beyond even if they don’t really have to. The inside seating area is small and it gets a little toasty in there with all the ovens going lol but I fanned myself with the awesome beer/wine menu they had lol they also offer a military discount which was nice since my husband serves and I was bringing this pizza home for us!
