Had a veggie burger, cheese curd, pumpkin pie sour and apple pie sour. Also tasted their peach crumble and horchata cream ale. Service and place was nice. Plenty of seating. They gave me paper menu since I don't really do the whole scanning menu thing. Service was quick and very courteous. Good work. I like to sit at the tree, which doesn't have a lot of room as far as maybe eating a pizza, but is my favorite spot Food: Cheese curds are generally good and come with a tangy dipping sauce. Veggie burger and fries taste was very good. I think the portion size was a little small for the price point, but with the cheese curd, I was full. Brews: The sours (all 3 except horchata) were absolutely gorgeous. I just tasted the peach, though, as it has lactose, which, for some reason, always gives me stomach pain. But the taste was phenomenal on that, and I highly recommend. The pumpkin pie is on oar with Prairies pumpkin pie treat (even better considering the price point, locally made, and the spices). The horchata didn't read as much horchata to me as it did cream soda flavoring, but it was still good. Bought some to-go pumpkin sours!

Great place! They have indoor and outdoor patio seating, a unique venue inside, chic merchandise, and a great selection of clean, crisp-tasting beers. Their beer flights consist of generous pours, and you can order everything for your table by scanning the QR code for your specific table! The QR code ordering approach is fast and reliable. You also pay your bill this way. My husband and I really enjoyed the beer selection. It was, what we feel like, all beers should taste like. They have plenty of TVs showing off that week’s football game, so it’s also a great place to go grab a beer and watch the game with friends. Highly recommend!

No signs outside so be aware. Inside decor is pretty cool. They have high chairs which is also a plus. Decent beer selection including some good sours. Food and service was okay. We went for Sunday brunch. The Not so Bloody Mary is completely different than a normal bloody mary and incredibly spicy. Portions are small. Sauces were eh. None of us were blown away by what we got and it wasn't super expensive but not cheap either. It was not busy but the server disappeares a bit. We may go back and give it another try in the future but not anytime some.

If you're looking for a great burger and beer deal, then look no further than Derive Breweries. I stopped in for their Wednesday special, and I was blown away by the quality of the food and the service.

First off, the burger was amazing. It was juicy and cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. The bun was fresh and held up to the toppings without getting soggy. Also, it comes with a side of chips, and you can swap them out for fries for a charge.

The beer was also top-notch. I tried the rice beer, and it had a great clean, crisp flavor. They had several other options on tap as well, so there's something for everyone.

But what really set this experience apart was the service. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure my glass was always full and checking in to see if I needed anything else. They even offered some recommendations for other menu items to try in the future.

All in all, I highly recommend Derive Breweries Wednesday burger / beer special. The food, the beer, and the service are all top-notch, and it's an amazing value for the price. I'll definitely be...

Let me be completely honest here. I wasn’t going to leave a review at all about this place. Why? Because I feel this place is a hidden gem, and selfishly, I wanted to return without having to fight a crowd of other people drawn here as a result of glowing reviews. But I thought better of it and am doing the right thing. There are many places in the Columbus area that brew their own beer and offer food. And I’ve tried many of them, if not all. In my opinion, Derive is decisively better than the competition. A lot of craft breweries offer their own versions of various beers and flavors, but don’t really deliver on the descriptions in terms of flavor profiles. This place actually makes beer that lives up to their respective names and advertised flavors. Food from the kitchen is definitely on point too. This place is a home run. Definitely come give it a try, just not...
