As John Ray have said, “beauty is power; a smile is its sword.” I have been going to Brow Envy Ohio for several years for my ombré brows and they’ve Always done a great job. I was very surprised to meet Faith since I was expecting Amber. Right away she said I did not need a touch up since my brows still look good and it’s just going to waste my money. After thanking her for her honestly I noticed her genuinely beautiful smile. I asked her what lipstick color she was using, and she said it’s not lipstick but lip blush which is permanent makeup similar to my eyebrows. It suddenly made me very self conscious because I do not like my lips. They are tanned and have a dark brownish border which I Absolutely abhor. I even went to a plastic surgeon’s office and they have said there’s nothing they could do. They could make my lips red or a deep brown to hide that dark border. So I just gave up because I want my lips to look naturally pink. Then I timidly asked Faith if she thinks she can help me with my lips. She asked me what would make me happy with my lips. I said three things: 1) I want the dark border gone, 2) no liners on my lips so they look natural and 3) I want them a soft mauvy pink. She laughed because I think she knew I’ve been thinking about it For a long time. She said she can do it. After my first session, Faith was wonderful about providing clear instructions about after care and most importantly, expectations. This is a journey and I have to have faith in mine. When I came for my touch up I was satisfied but not blown away. True my dark lip border was gone but the color wasn’t quite there. We finished the touch up and Faith handed me the mirror, I fell madly in love with my smile. The color, shape, and how natural my lips look just blew me away. I literally do not trust anyone with my face, especially makeup that’s permanent. I’m sure a lot of you can relate to that. I knew I wanted something done with my eyebrows and lips, but was unsure and very indecisive, which is a little nerve racking. When I got to BrowEnvy, Faith - the person I chose, was so welcoming and warm. She knew exactly what she was talking about. Faith explained the whole procedure and helped me decide what I wanted to do with my brows and lips. I was unsure what color would look best with my skin tone or what kind of brows I even wanted. I was in between the powder brows or micro-blading. I decided to do a combination brow and a natural looking lip blush. She helped me decide, and explain how each technique was different, and how it would work with my skin type. We also sat and compared colors. She had the best idea to mix a couple colors to give me my beautiful shade of lippie. I didn’t feel rushed at all to pick a color, and she answered all my unsure questions. I love how knowledgeable she is! It definitely made me more comfortable and at ease. She took her time and didn’t rush the process at all, it made me really instill my trust into her. Faith brought out different eyebrow colors to show me but also explain how each color/technique would work best for me.
