I am absolutely livid that the plate I was served at this restaurant was chipped! As someone who enjoys the dining experience, this completely ruined my meal. Not only was it unsightly, but it also made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the attention to detail of the staff. A chipped plate is unacceptable in any restaurant, let alone one that markets itself as upscale and sophisticated.
When I brought it to the attention of my server, they seemed indifferent and simply offered to replace it with another chipped plate. This lack of concern and effort to rectify the situation only added insult to injury. I expect better from a restaurant that charges such high prices for their food and prides itself on their presentation.
It's not just about the appearance either. A chipped plate can be a safety hazard. Small chips can easily turn into larger cracks and can potentially break while eating, causing injury to the mouth or even swallowing a shard of porcelain. This is not something that should be taken lightly and I am appalled that this restaurant would put their patrons at risk in such a thoughtless manner.
I also find it incredibly disrespectful to the food being served. The chef has put time and effort into creating a beautiful dish and it deserves to be served on a plate that showcases it properly. A chipped plate takes away from the overall presentation and detracts from the enjoyment of the meal. It's a small detail, but it can make a huge impact on the dining experience.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. A chipped plate may seem like a minor issue, but it speaks volumes about the attention to detail and level of care put into every aspect of the dining experience. I will not be returning and I would caution anyone considering dining here to think twice before spending their hard-earned money on a subpar experience. I could barely eat my meal I...

Another restaurant that insists on using QR Code menus as a social distancing/money saving measure which dilutes the customer-waiter experience. The restaurant's browser-based server likes to time out, and when you simply ask for a manual interaction with the waiting staff, they refer you back to the QR Code link to refresh your session. The staff, like so many automated, throughput centric (as opposed to human interaction) establishments, seem averse to communicating with customers at all, and pass critical looks at those who appear dissatisfied with the browser menu process. Hygiene is hollow logic for abstaining from physical menus because wait staff bring orders out by hand anyways, so its a moot reason. Also, what if I am a rare type of customer who does not have a smart phone? Guess I'll just sit here and wait.
The food was mediocre. Not a significant deviation from what one should expect from an airport sports grille.
I really wish "dine-in" restaurants across the country could break the covid-era inspired habit of relying on complete digitalization of customer service processes. Maybe I'm alone in my dissatisfaction...younger generations probably enjoy it, but I could go to Burger King and get more human input than a lot of places like Eddie's offer. I would feel more inclined to match the ridiculous automatic "20% tip" option the browser checkout defaults to if my wait staff actually spoke to me and provided some...
