Eldorado's Bar Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Columbus

I stopped in for a beer. The lady bartender was busy chatting with other customers, checking her cell phone, etc. She walked past me 3 times and never bothered to ask if I'd like to order something even though I would think it would be obvious. She even waited on the people next to me that arrived after I did. I checked my watch and 6 minutes had passed so I walked out.

I stopped in again about a month later (it's close to my house so I wanted to give them another chance). The same lady bartender...same chatting and waiting on other customers...same ignoring me. I had told myself that I'd give her 5-6 minutes before I walked out. Just as I was getting up to leave, another employee (I think it was DeeAnn??) that wasn't bartending came over and asked if she could help me. I did place an order and told DeeAnn that I appreciated her service. After I finished by beer and still not getting any service from the bartender I decided to leave.

This place seems to be popular with regulars that al seem to know each other. The decor is dark and didn't seem particularly nice. I won't go...

It this is definitely a place where you can go and on Y and be with friends an even meet new friends my first time there was today I didn't think at all I felt the warm presence of a good feeling upon me there I seen what I wanted beer and pizza is what I was craving at the time but I did not realize that has so much much more entertainment for you the only way that you will understand if you're not understanding right now remember the old show called chairs and there was a song that play in the beginning of the show I want to go where everybody knows my name well if you remember that show then this is the place for you welcome I would say I think twice out of a week I'm going to make it my place to go so now I have three places that I love to go to on wine The River by can sit close to the water Casino where I can take everything that's bothering me and just let it go by playing games and now this place matter of fact the casino in this place have the same name...

A group of us gathered on 9-11-2023 at Eldorado’s Food and Spirits at 4968 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus to remember the life of a member of our community who had died recently.

We also celebrated the fact that the WGRN-FM community radio station now has a new frequency and a new radio tower; we also gave awards to two WGRN-FM volunteers.

Eldorado’s Food and Spirits had been a great location for this event. Food and drink had been available the entire time while we had been there; a portion of the evening had been a program with speakers; a portion of the evening had been music.

I particularly enjoyed the several paintings of classic cars [probably from the 1960s] that are found all over Eldorado’s Food and Spirits.
