Family Garden（Emporium Square） — Restaurant in Columbus

First visit and I was not impressed AT ALL. I ordered hot pepper chicken wings and lo mein noodles. The noodles were dry and almost flavorless and the chicken was just ridiculous to be honest. Initially they were dry...only including the jalapeño peppers (no sauce/ oil, nothing). I had to return so I could get the pepper oil that should have been on them in the first place. I could see that they were fried pretty hard but upon biting into one, I saw how hard it really was (they fried the ... out of these wings). On top of that, they fried my chicken with feathers on it and all. No f...s given about my food.

My daughter ordered an egg roll and General tao’s chicken with fried rice and a side order of lo mein. She said the egg roll was good as well as the general tso’s chicken but her lo mein noodles weren’t that great and the rice was way too soft and...

I went in trying not to judge as I'd passed this restaurant for years and decided to try it?? Ordered wor su gai to go, well I got home opened it up realizing everyone's gravy is not always the same! The strong peanut odor was different but long story short (it was terrible) the lettuce underneath was brown and thankfully didn't eat! So I ended up in the restroom for the rest of the evening, got up the next morning tossed it in the trash!! Would I recommend them, NEVER!! What I felt with bubbly and grumbling stomach the rest of the afternoon and ending up in the restroom for the rest of the evening No!! Sorry but I had to be truthful as I sit here the next morning stomach still...

Became violently ill after eating here. I felt horrible as soon as I ate the food, and the vomiting and everything else hit me hard for the next 24 hours. I shudder to think what the food prep area looks like and if employees are coming to work sick or not washing their hands - or not properly washing or cooking food. I always go to China Wok but stopped here because it was on my route home Thursday. The food didn't taste great to begin with. I should have known better. Immediately threw all leftovers in the trash. Your recent reviews show me I'm not the only one who may have gotten sick from your food. You guys need to be serious about your food...
