Fried Chicka Bang! — Restaurant in Columbus

Alright, but not without caveats... This was our first time at this place. We heard about it from friends and decided to try it tonite. I ordered the Hotstepper with pub chips, and my wife got the Chicka Bang California Cobb salad. The chicken on my sandwich was overdone in the fryer. it was too dark and tasted a little bitter. The spice level was a bit much for me, even though I enjoy pretty spicy food. The chicken probably needed a bit more seasoning as well (salt, specifically). It was all heat! My wife didn't finish her salad because she thought the chicken pieces included were too spicy for her. She likes a little kick occasionally, but this was too much for her. As a side note, the salad was supposed to include corn and black beans. Neither of them were present. We might be back, but we will have to step down the spice...

Ordered from Uber eats - so unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to eat this sandwich hot. However, I got the hotstepper sandwich, it tasted great, breading was on point and the heat wasn’t overbearing. Their chips are tasty and I’m sure better when warm. Look forward to trying more of their sandwich’s.

Had another amazing chicken sandwich, another hotshtepper. It didn’t disappoint AND the chips are legit. I believe this is low key becoming one of my favorites.

This time, my incredibly smart wife, picked up the crunchberry cheese cake. WOW!!

Tired this place out for the first time tonight and it's not bad. The chicken is very juicy and tasty. We got some Airheads, Pixie stixs and Warheads with our meals. Thought that was fun! I am only giving 4 stars due to pricing. Feels a bit overpriced for the overall quality. Also, wish there were smaller versions of the sandwiches. I already struggle to eat big meals and I got about 4 bites in and had to call it quits. Sad because majority of the sandwich was thrown out... Overall, it's a great place to try it you like fried chicken sandwiches. But not something we would...
