I am an avid sushi lover and decided to try this place out today for their lunch special!
I ordered online and the first thing I noticed was that the website was very well done and easy to follow/navigate.
When I got there I didn’t know what to expect from past times being there when it was royal ginger. The man that greeted me was super friendly, he seemed to possibly be the manager maybe? I’m not sure, but he was super nice and made sure I had what I needed! It was a great transaction of me walking in, paying for my order, and picking up my food - I can appreciate that!
As stated earlier, I love my sushi! And I have had a lot of places around this area and frequent one in particular, so I was curious to see where Wild Ginger would place! I got home and first enjoyed my miso soup, it was so flavorful! It didn’t taste like warm dish water like some other places have it tasting, I was impressed! The sushi was just as good, the fish didn’t have any weird taste and it seemed fresh! They also give very big chunks of meat in each roll which I love!
I will definitely be back to try more rolls and some of...

The atmosphere was upscale, the jazz music playing, black napkins and elegant decor all contributed to a sleek vibe.
Bathrooms are well maintained, clean and smelled fresh and pleasant.
They had paper menus for the food and more elegant drink and wine menus, I found this a touch odd.
The sushi bar and adult beverage bar were sectioned off from the tables and booths, giving each section a cozy feel.
The salad was different types of lettuce and that delicious Asian ginger dressing. It was clean tasting and didn't taste of preservatives, and was good. There was no white pepper in the table, I do enjoy a touch of pepper on my salad.
The Singapore noodles with chicken were very delicious and milder than some places. They had some of the best fried rice I have ever had. It truly was spectacular.
The hubs got the beef peppers and it was very nice. The beef was velveted to perfection and the use of Jimica was fresh and delicious.
We will return soon...

Wonton soup was excellent.
Two of us got pan pan noodles. The noodles were not what we expected. Seemed to be taken directly from a package and, uncooked, placed under the freshly made shrimp, chicken and vegetables. Perhaps our expectation of the noodles in the dish was not consistent with how some typically cook the dish, but completely uncooked noodles were not enjoyable. Due to the noodles, I'd rank that dish a 3, only because the quality and flavor of the other ingredients compensate for the negative of the noodles.
General Tso's chicken was both flavorful and tender. I'd rank this a 4.
The beef in the peppersteak was drastically overcooked and overpriced at $32. Flavor of the sauce was good. I'd rank this a 2.
Overall, they seem to use quality ingredients and have excellent service. But not worth the price overall. We may visit again and get the general tso's to go, but I'd be hesitant to try any...
