Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams — Restaurant in Columbus

Jeni's used to be a favorite stop for me and the family and I admit that I haven't been to one in quite a while (more than a year or so), and on my visit today, I was saddened to learn there are no more sundae toppings, just scoops. At least before, the over-priced globes of frozen pretention were made a little more palpable with some salted pecans, caramel sauce, and whipped cream.

I took my 2yr old with me today and while we were there he, naturally, had to use the restroom. The restroom was a total disaster. The toilet tissue dispenser was completely empty, a random roll was opened on the floor... The sign next to the sink which says, "wash your hands after using the restroom" is all fine and good, but there is nothing to dry your hands with. The entire paper hand towel dispenser was missing.

The whole experience was a giant let down - like when you go back and watch an episode of a TV show you used to love as a kid and end up thinking, "oh my, why did I like this?!" - except it's only been a year.

Should've went with my gut and gone to Whit's; won't be making that...

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review for jeni’s! I love Jeni’s! Icecream has always been a favorite food of mine and jeni’s has an absolutely perfect texture with fun and unique flavors to match. I truly believe jeni’s takes icecream to the next level with the depth of their flavors and consistency. The icecream is expensive but is worth it for a treat every once in a while.

The employees do a great job of articulating what’s in the icecream which elevates the whole experience.

They regularly come out with new and limited flavors so it’s always fun to come and try something with the hype. Most recently they had their eclipse flavors which were delicious on their own but also paired perfectly together. Also their waffle cones 🤌🏾 and they compliment the icecream...

First time trying Jeni's Ice Creams and I must say that it was totally worth it! I walked up to the counter to see a bright smiling face ready to help me with whatever ice cream I wanted. I asked if I could sample a couple of the flavors and she said "you can try as many as you would like". I tried a couple that interested me and I seriously think that this is some of the best ice cream I've ever tried! Now, I thought that a pint of ice cream for $10 was a little bit high, but it was seriously worth it! I had a 45 minute drive home and the young lady behind the counter gave me my pints in an insulated bag, so that it wouldn't melt on the way home! Amazing customer service and really amazing ice cream! I cannot wait...
