So rude and unprofessional. I ordered a curbside carry out order because I had my baby and 3 dogs in the car so I needed some place that offered curbside. Once I ordered online, it showed a 6 minute wait. I didn’t get there until after 20 minutes of ordering. I pulled into the curbside spot that was in direct view of the register inside. The curbside sign said to click “I’m here” on the email receipt or call store. I called the store and it rang for a minute and then hung up. I went on my email receipt and clicked “I’m here” and it said “we’ll be out shortly.” I waited 10 more minutes and tried calling the store 2 more times and it went straight to “Welcome to Verizon wireless. Your call cannot be completed as dialed.” I waited a few more minutes and still nothing so I got my baby out of the car and went in to grab my order. When I walked in, there was no line and all the employees just stared at me without saying anything. I saw an order on the counter in a bag so I went to look at the receipt to see if it was mine. That’s when an employee decided to acknowledge me and said in a rude tone “That’s not yours.” I said “Is your curbside carryout not working?” There were three more orders sitting on their counter and she found mine and said, “You ordered in Google. That’s why it’s not working.” I told them their phones aren’t working either. What made me mad was they had a clear view of the curbside spots and saw me sitting there for 15 minutes before getting my child out of the car to come in. Read moreI'll start by saying that I hadn't been to a Charley's in a while. Probably about 10 years at least. The last location I'd been at was probably the one they have (had?) at Tuttle Mall. From what I remember at that time the steaks were decent quality.
Unfortunately, I either remembered wrong or something's changed in the years between visits. My wife and I went to the 6975 E. Broad Street location and it wasn't an experience I'll be repeating.
We ordered a regular philly steak combo (the wife) and a large philly steak combo w upgraded bacon & cheese fries (me).
To be clear, the service was good as far as interaction. But the time from order to being presented our food was bad. It had to have taken about 10 minutes. I don't recall it taking that long in the past when they used to grill the steak in front of you.
My cheese & bacon fries had way too much cheese on them. So much so that after having a few, I asked to swap for regular fries (I didn't bother asking for the difference back, which I think was a dollar) and they, to their credit, made the swap and apologized. No big. I mean, if that's they way they usually serve their cheese and bacon fries, that's fine. It's just not my thing.
The sandwiches were probably the biggest disappointment. The meat was not hot or even warm. It was also dry. Thankfully we both got some mayo so that saved us from eating a completely dry sandwich but it was super disappointing. For just over $27 I expected more.

Read moreIf I could get the store zero Stars I would I place the online order for buy one get one free wings when I went to go pick up my order they were getting ready to close the store so they were clearly in a rush my order was already packaged up tied up and ready to go so I was not able to check it there at the counter once I got home I realized that the wings were not cooked to order properly there were sesame seeds on the teriyaki chicken and I asked for a barbecue but instead of something very hot and spicy. I called the store on numerous occasions to reach out to management and there were complications with the phones I even went to the store with my receipt in hand several times and kept getting the runaround by staff members laughing in my face telling me that none of the employees speak English and that there's no manager on site this Charlie should be closed down they gave me a phone number for supposed manager who never called or texted me back all I wanted was my wings remade but at this point I'm pissed and want a refund I wish there was a way I could reach corporate because this is unacceptable and unfair to paying customers. If your employees are being negligent not looking at the order receipts then if I come in and say that my order was wrong and I have a receipt my food should be remade or I should be given a refund close this location down immediately!
