I'm not gonna lie, the way they do stuff at this property is a bit weird. I ordered a large ice cream cone (I normally get regular).... The scoops were already small as hell, but tell me why this lady took a small chunk out of the scoop & put it back. They say it's supposed to be 10 oz... But when I go to another location (app. 35 minutes away) the same amount she tried to give me for a large, is the amount I'm given for a regular size... For $8-$9 that's pathetic. When it was time to pay, she explained that their tap option doesn't work anymore & that one of the customers broke it? I really think it was God, because just thinking about her taking a chunk out of the (already tiny) scoops would've taken away from the eating experience. I don't think I would've enjoyed the ice cream & would've felt cheated. My card is right here in my car, but I am not going back in there for that little a$$ $*!+! I will happily drive an extra 30 minutes to get my money's worth. Please, avoid this clownery at all cost. Just go to Bruster's.
I almost forgot to mention something else that I thought was stup!d. AFTER they weigh the ice cream, they remove the ice cream scoops from the paper, transfer it to this metal icy tray near the toppings, then add it to the ice cream cone... That is the dumbest s*!+ I've ever seen... Not only are you already giving people the tiniest scoops, but you're taking away from the "standard weight amount" when you add the soft ice cream to the metal tray, just to put it in the cone... It just...
Read moreIf I could give a -5 stars I would… heck a -10 just because I noticed that my review from December was DELETED. Then it was just a 1 star review due to the fact that we visited this place for the first time with family that were out of town. The workers at the time closed an hour early and locked the door. Inside were two workers behind the counter with a bunch of teens whom I assume were their friends. And instead of the workers making up at least a semi-decent lie about the weird gathering in a business and why they locked out paying customer an hour early- one of the teens who looked like he was probably in middle school came and started yelling at us that they are closed! Yes yelling it and repeatedly. We even pointed out the fact that they are supposed to be open and received the same result. Either way, we weren’t going to eat there anyway because the employees obviously don’t care about working and God only knows what they do to your food. I can only imagine the lack of hygiene that goes on in that place as well. 😑 I truly cannot imagine anyone getting good service here l and if my post is deleted again I will just post this again because I didn’t even think you could have this kind of experience...
Read moreI received an email from Marble Slab Creamery because my birthday was last week offering me $5 off my purchase. I also checked my app and I have the offer available there. I went for my birthday as a small gift and was super excited. I ordered my ice cream and have it in my hand as the cashier rings me up. My total was maybe $5-6. I tell the cashier I have a $5 birthday reward. I pull up my app, show her my reward, press redeem, and a QR code pops up along with my name and number to be scanned to redeem the reward. She asks for my number and after I tell her my number, she says there's not account found. I show her my account on the app. She grabs someone from the back, and that person calls the manager. While on the phone with the manager, she asks me if the coupon is for Marble Slab Creamery. I'm looking around like "Maybe I came to the wrong place". I told her yes and then she gets off the phone and basically said they don't accept Marble Slab Creamery coupons. I went for a dessert for my birthday. They would not honor my reward that was emailed to me as well as in my app, and took the ice cream back. Terrible...
