McDonald's — Restaurant in Columbus

July 2024 Update: Their breakfast/lunch staff is great. The dinner and night staff are horrendously bad. Even though I arrived at the order box first, they helped a car that showed up two minutes after me and then continued to make me wait for a couple minutes more. I made an online order and the first guy threw the receipt at me without saying a word. Upon receiving my order, the look of hatred on the face of the staff member felt personal. Reviewing my order for correctness, there was an item missing. Going inside to get the missing item was a mistake. It smelled like weed. The manager was getting yelled at and for reason. He was ignoring her. They ignored me too because they never have anyone helping customers inside. Everyone looked right through me. I waited so long that the rest of my order got cold and soggy. I doubt calling to complain would make a difference given that the manager has a horrible attitude.

2024 Update: service is fast and accurate. The staff is friendly and I have noticed familiar faces which suggests they don't have high turnover. Fries are, sadly, rarely filled. I mean, like half filled. Other than that, the food is usually fresh. Their breakfast to mid-day staff is top notch.

updating yet again: The service is significantly slower than previously stated. The staff has been rude. Mobile orders are ignored and you're left waiting for ages. Then when you go inside bc you think you've been forgotten, the staff ignores you. The manager who was about to finally bring me my order literally shoved the bag into my hands. It was incredibly rude. I don't need their fattening good anyway so I am done. Updating: they have improved drastically. Their food has been excellent and the service has been quick. I haven't been made to wait for orders. The staff has been friendly too. Old review: My kid's burger was undercooked once. The orders are incorrect 99% of the time. The manager and staff literally cuss at customers in front of other customers. Most recently, I was in the right lane at the drive thru and was told to wait a minute. Literally six cars in the left lane moved on ahead and I left and went to BK and received excellent, prompt service. I will never come back to this location despite it being the most convenient location. I’ve never experienced such rude...

I went to Mcdonalds tonight once I left the hospital to order some food. The doors was locked so I knocked for a little while. I knocked because it was around 10:30 and it was a sticker on the door that clearly said it closed at 11 on the inside and drive thru close at 12. Once again it was only around 10:30!!! A young man finally came and opened the door, so I asked him why the doors are locked he said his manager locked them. So I then asked who’s his manager tonight he said Mr.Roderick. So I walked up to the counter and no one acknowledged the fact that I was their. He then walked in and told me the doors was locked for a reason. We are short of staff. He didn’t take my order. I said what the hell im looking at 5 people off top. The girl right their that’s leaned over can take my order. Nobody said nothing. Evryone just ignored me. So I stood their for a minute and then walked off. You can see that he just wanted to leave early. This is a terrible way to treat a coustomer. It’s the manager fault.I will never eat their again. I visited the drive thru today and the service was horrific. First, I was quoted the wrong items on my order confirmation and then when I corrected the young lady, she rudely stated, that's what I said I just added the extra item. Am I wrong that if you added an item, it's not what I ordered? But, I digress, I continued on to pick up my order and was asked to wait for my order in the handicap parking space, mind you, I'm not legally supposed to use that space, yet I was asked to park there and wait. In addition, I was handed the milkshake I ordered, which was for someone else to sit and wait for my order. I asked if it could be held and replaced in order to be brought out with my order. When my food finally did arrive, I received the same milkshake (slightly melted) and the additional food item I had not ordered. When I asked the young man why it was in my bag he said look in the box. For what? It's not mine I tried to explain to him. Instead of trying to explain to him through my frustration, I just gave the sandwich back and rethought my interest in ever patronizing this particular...
