Each time , I used the McDonalds app to place my order for takeout through the drive-thru. I arrive and provide them with my code and am told to pull up to the second window. Once I arrive at the second window, I am told they are out of something that I ordered on the app. When I ask for a refund for the item they proceed to tell me they are unable to issue a refund, I have to process it on the app (which there is no way to process a refund when they process your order) they then proceed to ask me if I want something of significant lesser value than what I paid for in replace of it.
I have been to this location on 4 separate occasions. On two occasions, they were out of apple pies (I ordered 4 apple pies each of the two seperate occassions), and I was told they were not able to issue me a refund. I was offered another bakery item. They offered to replace them with apple fritters. They replaced my order for four apple pies with one apple fritter on each separate occasion.
The third time, I placed an order for the Grimace meal specifically for the grimace shake. When I arrived at the second window, I was told they were out of the grimace shake, but they were able to substitute it for a strawberry milkshake.
This fourth time, I placed an order for the Grimace meal again specifically for the Grimace shake and arrived at the second window and was told they were out of the Grimace milkshake, they did not have any milkshakes at all. I requested a root beer and was told they were out of root beer. I then asked for a sprite and was told they were out of all sodas as well. I had also ordered other meals for my family, and their orders had root beer for their drinks. I was handed their drinks, and the root beer was clearly watered down from it running out.
I ended up having to get a hi-c orange in place of my grimace milkshake after paying over $11 for a 10 pc chicken nugget meal with no milkshake.
I left and called back to speak with a manager (Alexi, I believe) and was told if I could come back up there, they could issue a refund. I explained to her that this issue has happened on several occasions, and they always tell me they aren't able to issue a refund. She stated that some managers do say they can't issue a refund, but that's not the truth. She stated she would refund me back for all of the drinks from my meal, and she would write it in the managers log.
I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with this location and will not be returning as their customer service, lack of understanding, and lack of honesty are deplorable. Other McDonald's locations actively update their app for items they are out of stock in, but this location does not and often engages in offering something of lesser value than...
Read moreWe had the worst customer service experience we’ve ever encountered — and it was directly due to the manager on duty. She spoke broken English, misunderstood our order, and then blamed us at the window, claiming we had ordered incorrectly. Thankfully, another employee overheard our conversation after the manager walked away and stepped in to help. A young white female employee kindly read back the order on the screen with us, confirmed the issue, and said she would try to get it corrected.
We never saw the manager again. The young employee returned with our food and drinks and explained that although she had tried to fix the order, the manager wouldn’t allow it unless we paid the difference — even though the mistake was not ours.
We parked to check the food and, of course, items were missing. I went inside and spoke with the same helpful employee. The manager saw me, made eye contact, and walked away without a word — as if I wasn’t worth her time. The young employee got the missing food for us, and when I asked for a receipt to leave a review, she said, “I can’t blame you.” I thanked her for being professional and understanding. I even mentioned that it wasn’t her fault the manager didn’t seem capable of understanding the situation, and she responded, “I agree — she just doesn’t get it.”
While I was inside, I noticed a young Hispanic girl, around 4 or 5 years old, running around the restaurant—back and forth between a woman seated at a table and behind the counter. She repeatedly ran up to the manager and then back away, almost like she might have been the manager’s...
Read moreI almost never post negative reviews. As a previous manager and now business owner, I try to give the management a benefit of the doubt. Good help can be hard to find. People no longer have the work ethic they used to. All that being said, when I get bad service, food, or if there is an issue, I always talk to th3 management because they could turn around and fix the experience for the customer. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case at this McDonald's. There was hair in the coffee I bought this morning. When I spoke to the manager, he said, "There is no way, I was making the drinks this morning." a second manager came out and basically said they wouldn't do a refund if they also replaced my coffee, to which I asked, how much is a coffee? And, would you rather have a negative review telling other individuals to watch out for this particular location? She just replied with, "That is the policy."
I have to let you know that if you are reading this review, this image could be your coffee, or your spouse's, or even your boss' drink.
Think twice. sometimes, the convince is not worth a mouth...
