Racist and discriminatory.
I was followed in the store by two grown men while shopping, insinuating that I was trying to steal. I am a young woman that was in the store on my own, and I was genuinely concerned for my safety. When I brought this to the ladies attention in the front, she proceeded to make it seem as though she didn’t know what I was talking about. Then she contradicted herself when she asked me, “ Were they wearing name badges?” I said no, they were not. Then she proceeded to then contradict herself and say, “ Yeah, we only have one here.” Meaning they only have one secret shopper there at the store. I am a perks member and I have spent over $5000 in that store alone. To be discriminated against and scrutinized after spending my hard earned $95 is extremely disrespectful. I will be speaking to corporate about this issue. I also knew she was inherently lying because you would think after I just told you two grown men were following me in a store, and knowing how heavy human trafficking is in Ohio, you think you would take more heat to it. However, she didn’t seem phased by that at all, nor were my concerns even addressed. This is extremely disrespectful. Before I spoke to her, I already knew what was happening, but I still proceeded to pay for my items. When I went up to the cash register, everyone was nervous and couldn’t even make direct eye contact with me, which is also how I knew I wasn’t making anything up. I even proceeded to mention that I was being followed while shopping.

Read moreI’ll never shop at this location again. I was accused of stealing $13 Christmas ornaments by a manager. I misplaced my receipt but tried to go to the store to exchange them for a different color. I walked in the door and went straight to the counter and told the cashier that I misplaced my receipt and asked if I could exchange them for a different color. She told me to go grab the ones that I wanted so I left the ones I didn’t want at the front counter with the cashier. By the time I found the ones I wanted the previous cashier was waiting on someone else so I went to the next available cashier. I explained the situation to him and the manager (Anette) walked over to me being extremely rude and stated that she “cant exchange the ornaments because she didn’t see me walk in the door with them.” I advised her to review the tapes so that she could clearly see me walk in the door and she refused. You don’t question someone’s character by calling them a thief but then refuse to review the tapes when they tell you to! I didn’t have time to sit and argue so I just paid for the ornaments that I wanted. When I asked for my original ornaments back that i came in the door with that were already PAID FOR she acted like she didn’t want to give them back. Read moreI ordered items online for curbside pickup at the Polaris location. I followed the direction I received by sending text when on my way and when I got there. I waited for 15 minutes, but nobody ever showed up. I called the store, and was told that they have disabled the texting, but they will bring up my items now that I called. I waited another half an hour, and called again, and was told I had to go in the store. What was the point of curbside pickup if I had to go in? And why didn’t you say that clearly if you don’t offer that service? Why did you show the option online? Then when I finally went in the store, saw an employee walking my way, so I asked how to pick up online order. He pointed to the general direction of the long line and said, “you are going to have to talk to one of them, I am helping someone else”. Are you serious?!
