I don’t like being that guy that leaves bad reviews unless it’s absolutely necessary, but this situation I think is necessary enough to make other customers and the Corporate offices aware of one of the absolute WORST restaurant experiences my family and I have ever had. My family and I are long time, loyal customers of Roosters but honestly we’ll probably never go again unless Roosters makes this right in some sort of way.
We were supposed to be seated at 5pm but around 6:05pm my family and I decided that we were just going to leave and eat somewhere else. I walked up to the hostess to let her know that, and the hostess again was kind and apologized. I told her I know it’s not her fault, but it seemed like a management issue. As I was telling this to the hostess, another woman from the Roosters staff walked up to us with horrible body language, an attitude, and a bitter look on her face, and abruptly interrupted us…. Rudely and loudly saying in front of all the customers: “If you want to leave then leave- we can’t just tell other guests sitting down to leave.. And we don’t even take reservations.”
She said her name was Jen and that she’s one of the Managers as well… I explained to Jen that I understand that they don’t necessarily take designated reservations, however, we did everything we were supposed to and called ahead on Thursday, did everything we were instructed to do by calling in over 2 hrs in advance that day, and waiting patiently for over an hour and 20 minutes… While I was trying to explain that to her, she just kept interrupting me and talking over me saying “we don’t even take reservations.. we don’t even take reservations.” She was being so rude, aggressive, and condescending, that I had to stop and ask her “Why are you continuing to interrupt me and be rude?” Her response was “I’m allowed to be rude since you were harassing my employees and hostess”… I asked her how did we harass her hostess and she replied rudely again “By asking when you were going to be seated multiple times!” I kindly smiled, bit my tongue about what I really wanted to say to her and told her “Asking a hostess when we would be seated is a reasonable question not harassment. But no worries, I’ll contact corporate and we’ll leave.”
With that being said, as my family and I were walking out, several other guests that witnessed the entire thing were saying “that manager needs to be fired how she was talking to you… that was so unacceptable! After tonight we’re never coming here again!”… And that was what other random guests were saying who we didn’t know! So hopefully that puts it into perspective.
All in all, though we were disappointed with the fact that we had to wait over 1 HOUR and 20 MINS in total, and ended up leaving before ever being seated… what I’m complaining about is the MANAGERS. Tanner was a bit rude for no reason and the manager Jen??? She be ashamed of herself… not only as a manager but as a human. You don’t speak to people so rudely and disrespectfully, especially when we were being reasonable about the situation. Ownership and the Corporate offices should be ashamed that they have a manager like Jen conducting herself like that, and being a HORRIBLE example to her employees. By no means am I trying to get Jen fired, but I really hope Roosters ownership trains / retrains Jen not only how to manage, but also how to talk to people and provide good customer service, because the way she spoke to me and my family in front of all those guests especially, was completely unacceptable.

Read moreLet me start off by saying I love Rooster’s normally. This is not our regular location. We started with our normal app of Supreme Nachos without jalapeños. When it arrived the portion was very small and skimpy compared to our regular portions and honestly looked unappetising. We started eating them and the chips were completely soggy but with no flavor. I don’t mind a cheese and chili soggy chip but these chips didn’t have chili or cheese on them. Upon closer look there was a puddle of water on the plate that had made all of the chips soggy. I showed the waitress who took them back to the kitchen to have them remade. When they came out they looked great (normal portion) but with jalapeños on them. We didn’t say anything just scraped them off. We started eating them and discovered there were several frozen french fries in them. We are not complainers so after biting into one we scrape them out of the nachos and order our meals. My husband ordered the nest and asked for mild sauce on his wings. When the food arrived his order was very skimpy and after we started eating he discovered the chicken were naked with no sauce. We waited for a bit for the waitress to come back and when she didn’t he just ate it. She never came back to fill our drinks or check on us until we were finished. She just started clearing the table without speaking, not asking how we were doing, if we needed anything. At that point I had had enough. I NEVER complain. I can’t remember the last time I sent food back. There were so many mistakes and the service was barely there that I said something to her kindly about how we were disappointed. And listed several of my dissatisfactions she was sympathetic and said I’ll have my manager take care of it. We waited and she returned with our check that had a $5 credit on it. A manager didn’t come to the table. Just the $5 credit. I didn’t complain to get a free meal. I complained because so many things went wrong with our meal that we couldn’t enjoy it and thought the management should know and I guess...
Read moreOkay dude straight up I loved this place! This is my first type eating here and I was not disappointed at all. Now I have been to other establishments and I haven't had the best of service but this one was different this one was top notch! First off the building is extremely clean the restrooms and everything it was nicely kept up. The patio looked really nice but it was raining off and on the day I came here so it wasn't open but I think I would have liked to sit out there next time. There is plenty of TVs with pretty much every game was on I was watching some college game when I went there I only remember what it was I just remember that that's where I found out that the news broke that Oklahoma and Texas joined the SEC. I'm Only given that detail out just so you know that if you're in the sports they got you here! Lol Now let's talk about the food which was delayed this was delicious! I mean it was the bomb! I got the tenders smothered in Carolina Gold sauce and on my goodness it hit the spot! I mean I can't explain how good that was! Like wow wow it was fantastic! The chicken it's self was juicy and tender and for fried tender I was really surprised. My only complaint was that one of my tenders was less than half the size of the other 3 but I'm not gonna hold that against them because my server my server went and got me another one that's was up to size so they completely made it right and I really appreciated that. I don't mean to be so complimentary but the service here was here was extraordinary the screw went above and beyond and I will recommend this place to anyone who is in area or to those who aren't in the area. I had a really good time here and I will be back!
