Today, I was disappointed with my order delivered via Uber Eats. (The driver was nice, and he still received his tip.) This is the first time I've encountered an issue, and I have ordered from Moe’s several times on Uber Eats, always getting the same items. I even started to prefer them over Chipotle. Nevertheless, there was cheese on our meals, and my daughter is 100% a non-dairy eater. The Moe’s sauce is one of my little pleasures, just to clarify for those who might want to get technical. I didn’t understand why the piece of paper attached to my order stated "shredded cheese." I called to speak with a manager, and the lady I spoke to claimed she was the manager. However, she then handed the phone over to Manager Jimmy after I explained the issue. Unfortunately, they could only offer to request a refund and suggested I reorder through Uber Eats to have it remade. "That’s so convenient and helpful,". That was all he offered, other than telling me what he saw on his end, stating that they made it as it appeared in their system. Jimmy, you didn’t show any regard for my concern, which is why I called back to ask for an email or point of contact to report this error in the system. By the way, lunchtime would be over by the time all the refund and reordering was handled! No, thank you! Fortunately, my toddler slept in, so she had a late breakfast and only wanted the other half of her fruit smoothie that I prepared. However, she is currently enjoying the chips and dip (at least we kept that). I ended up calling right back because I requested an email to send over what I saw on my end and what they had. I thought maybe their system needed checking. He didn’t seem interested based on his response—he said he would be the one to receive the email. Overall, I was all for Moe’s, but I suggest that if you order online, please call in to ensure your order appears correctly so you can meet your expectations for your food! Read moreThe worst Moe's experience I've ever had. Sign says "under new ownership". Usually that should mean they're trying to make it better. Nope, they've gone the wrong direction. The only employee interacted with was extremely rude and disrespectful. Like it was a burden for her to have to make my order. She literally threw my tortilla on the warmer. Which, by the way, was disgusting. There was burnt remnants of previous tortillas stuck on it. The black beans were clearly old as they looked like a thick paste. The chicken was overcooked and mushy. The guacamole was turning brown on top. That didn't stop the employee from scooping a nasty heap of it and slapping it onto my burrito. She wripped the tortilla wrapping it but rolled it up in the foil anyway. Clearly made a mess all over my hands when I ate it. Something tasted off with the salsa and hot sauce as well. Not one employee greeted me, nor did they inquire who I may have been waiting to pickup for so I'd have an approximate time for my wait. Instead, I waited there for 15 minutes with no help, walked over to the counter to check a couple of bags that were prepared for pick up. The lady rudely turns the bag around and says "That's not for you!" Then asks who are you picking up for? After showing her, she proceeds to tell another employee that I'm here to pickup for that customer, which indicated that they hadn't begun to even prepare the order yet. I waited for another 10 minutes and decided to cut my loss and leave. As I was leaving that same rude employee yelled "Bye" as I left.
