Mykonos Gyros — Restaurant in Columbus

I was in from out of town for a conference, and visiting a friend. We stopped here for lunch and we were blown away by the hospitality of the owners. They are truly sweet folks who run this place, and now the food. Oh the food! The gyro meat was tender and spiced well. The fries are seasoned, like a batter dipped almost. My friend kept mentioning how delicious the fries were. Grape leaves were great too, just how I like mine, not too much lemon. But with a bit of acid to wake the taste buds.

All in all Mykonos Gyros is a fantastic place to grab lunch whether you're in the area for a conference or just hungry for good Greek food.

I tried going here... I didn't make it. It seems its inside a food court or something. I don't know. GPS led me to a parking garage. I pulled over and tried to figure out where I was supposed to go. Everything kept pointing to a parking garage. It seemed maybe I was supposed to go into a food court attached to a stadium or something. Its pretty highly rated from locals so I suppose the food must be good but I couldn't really find a way to find out. Maybe there's a secret only locals...

This is a great place to get a good meal when you're at the Convo Center complex - not just because the owners are very nice people, but because they're actually open after 2pm! Food is Greek-infused, but not all they offer, and their portions are very generous...this isn't a tiny meal on a giant plate.
