Peluso's Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Columbus

I'm giving this place 4stars simply because I've been a loyal customer for over 20years the owners are truly dedicated to give you a great dining experience. But lately I've been going to the other location because everytime I order from this location & the owner isn't there this is what I get Normally the peppers & onions are diced the crust is crispy everything is just as it was the 1st time I ate there 20yrs ago. Someone at this location doesn't care about their job or the reputation of this well known establishment. This only happens when the owner isn't there if I call to order & that certain person answers the phone I tell her to let me get my order together & call her back I then call the other location which is a little out the way but I'd rather drive over to that location to get the food I'm use to. I hope that this person gets their act together. Anyway I love the food I'm posting this in the hope that the owners see this & fixes this problem. Also the sausage was not cooked. I'm upset bc I used to think this place was, at least, half decent and the staff seemed friendly. But this evening was a complete horrow show, and I feel bad bc people need employment. But, my waiter was upset that we walked in and were the "first table in 3 hours". The chef must've taken the night off bc our pizza was so bad I couldnt even eat it. It was undercooked, and tasted like what I imagine the bottom of a refrigerator taste like. I hope Peluso's gets it together bc its the only Italian spot in the area. I had to go to publix and get a pizza out of the freezer just to redeem Italians everywhere. Lastly, after I told them how bad there pizza is, they still charged us full price, which I think, is a failure in customer service. 0/5...

It's not every day that you find a gem like Peluso's! The menu is full of mouth watering options. The food is wonderful and you receive very large portions for a fair price. Whereas most places make you choose between soup or salad, they give you both as well as garlic bread! The thing about this location specifically that guarantees I will go back again and again is that the server is the best server I've ever had at any restaurant ever! She's so friendly and doesn't miss a beat. You want for nothing while feeling like you're interacting with an old friend. Her energy is radiant, welcoming, and genuine.
