Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Columbus

I have been to this location 3 times since it has opened because it is convenient to where I live. Every time there is a menu item not available, this last time was Mac and Cheese and this was early dinner during the day on a Sat. The drink area was dirty and there was one table that did not have food on it even though they were empty. Every time I have been there I waited on my food for over 20 minutes. These are not big orders (2 piece meal). The people that work there are nice and apologetic however when you have 12 people standing and waiting on chicken and most complaining about the service ( which I get) it is not a good atmosphere. I watched several couples and 2 families leave while waiting to just have their order taken. Your losing customers!! Someone needs to come and get this location together. I love Popeyes chicken but will not go unless the management of it changes.

Update- tried going here 3 more times because of the convenience of the location. Keep thinking the service will get better. But nope. Once had to wait 20 min for a 2 piece meal, my daughter was picking up the 2nd time, again had to wait for dark meat.This will be the last time because of the poor management of this location. Out of chicken. Popeyes chicken is out of dark meat chicken. Unfortunate because Popeye themselves are my favorite place to go for fried chicken. But they never fail to disappoint at this location. The manger Lena (I think that's her name) displays consistent competence and conscientious care with above and beyond customer service. The staff are always polite and friendly. I normally go through the drive-through without any incident. One afternoon my order was wrong. And I actually heard someone shouting to me to stop and didn't realize they were trying to call me back. A little later I found out I had the wrong order and immediately. The manager said no problem just give me your name and you are back on this side of town. We will make it right. It was almost 2 weeks later, and I was sure They had forgotten what I went anyway, because I was in the area. I was greeted by the manager, Lena, who said I never forget incident. I never forget a face. WOW! She asked me what was the original order and took care of it really quick and profusely apologized. Just had a pleasant Friday night dinner at the new Popeyes on Sawmill in Dublin, OH. It was bustling and they seemed short-staffed, but the team's dedication was truly impressive!

Special shout-out to Lena, who exemplified outstanding service! She was helping customers even after clocking out - on a Friday night, no less! Her leadership and commitment were truly admirable.

Despite the hectic atmosphere, Lena remained pleasant, respectful, and responsive. This franchisee is incredibly fortunate to have such a devoted employee.

Huge kudos to the entire crew for their effort under pressure. They made us feel genuinely welcome and appreciated, even during the rush.
