Came in on 7-22-2023 and ordered a Caniac combo with no toast and extra cane sauce to-go. When I got home I opened up the box that said Caniac on it to find 4 pieces of semi-cooked (raw in the center) chicken. The Caniac comes with 6 pieces of chicken. I also received two slices of bread and NO sauce. I then proceeded to call the restaurant and spoke to Xander who claimed that he was the general manager of this location and told him of my problems and issues that I had. He told me that it was really hard to believe that-that's what I received and I said well I don't know what you want me to tell you but this is what I got and he said well it's no problem let me get your name and I told him my name and he informed me that the next time I came in I could get a replacement. I came inon 7-22-2023 (the next day) and spoke to the same person who was Xander and he said well I need a receipt and I said well you never told me about the receipt on the phone call so I don't have it with me and then he proceeded to call me a liar again and said that he has a very hard time believing that I only received four pieces of chicken and if they were wrong again this is what happened and you know I don't have any reason to lie and he said without a receipt he can't help me out and to have a good day and proceeded to walk away. I informed him before I left that I was going to call corporate and leave a nasty review on Google which is what I'm doing I normally do not complain about stores but this is extremely unprofessional to call a customer a liar why would I lie about that why would I tell you that your chicken is raw you know this is actually a food safety issue and I'm going to also inform the health department maybe they'll come in there and see what's really going on behind the scenes. Well there as well I watched an employee wipe his nose with gloves on his hand and then proceed to box somebody else's food and I also informed Xander of the situation and he said " don't try to manage my restaurant I have this under control" I really have no idea what the heck is going on in this restaurant but this isn't the first time I've received nasty service at this location. Xander looked like he was having one hell of a day and looks like he didn't have any sleep or he was strung out on drugs I'm not really sure I'm not the type of person to judge but I'm just stating what I saw while I was there. Also the customers that were in the dining room were talking and I overheard them say you know this is probably the worst games they've ever had in their entire life you guys might want to think about retraining your management and/or bringing in a whole new staff because this restaurant location has dwindled over the years in customer service, cleanliness and the overall crew moral of this location. I hate to leave such a lengthy negative review but something needs to change here. All this over a replacement order really is confusing and I don't understand why they just didn't make it right. Maybe they have a lot of people coming in claiming that they didn't receive food that they never actually paid for but I don't look like your "typical" homeless person, I am a businessman at the end of the day so it's just really bothers me that he couldn't replace my food when I was promised a replacement order to "make it right" (Xanders...

If you blink, you will miss this place. There is a very narrow facing front on the road with a deep but narrow parking lot.

When it is time to leave, you probably want to turn right. It's in a spot where it's very difficult to turn left across traffic.

The inside was very clean and felt very homey and welcoming.

They took a lot of time to discuss the menu and what a Celiac might order (gluten free).

So the menu is essentially chicken fingers. They can make chicken fingers without breading. These unbreaded chicken fingers are then cooked in the same oil as the breaded chicken fingers, so, there will be cross-contamination if you go for the gluten-free version.

My chicken fingers were very nicely cooked, tender, and tasty. They have a very good dipping sauce, just one sauce, and I liked it. It. They have a Texas toast that was very good, and I enjoyed the french fries.

Coleslaw came with my meal, but I wasn't sure how to eat it because I couldn't find any forks. So I cannot comment on the coleslaw.

The chicken was very nicely done and obviously they keep their fryers clean.

There is a Coke machine here and they also have tea and some rather tasty lemonade.

For the price, I don't know why people don't eat...

Solid caines, they moved quickly and got my order right.

Edit: My most recent visit to Cane's showed me just how far the chain as a whole has stooped low for merely being satisfied with taking money. I will say this, the issue is not really with this particular Cane's nor does it have to do with their service. But with the quality of Cane's food. Even compared to last year I was able to get Cane's chicken fingers and the size of the fingers was perfectly satisfying but this visit I noticed the chicken fingers I got were incredibly small so small in fact that they were literally about the size of my finger. If I wanted chicken fingers that small I would have just gone to McDonald's. When I go to Cane's I expect chicken fingers that are large enough to satisfy great hunger but that no longer seems to be Caine's priority. I think something needs to change. I have attached a photo to see why I was so disappointed.

Edit: had to correct my misspelling of their name. It is...

Very nice time for our family on our first visit to Cane's! The chicken is above average, and the fries are on par. Their special sauce is pretty good too. The building/atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. Very clean and open interior with clean restrooms and a very helpful and courteous staff. This place even has a drive thru if you don't want to eat in. It was our first trip here, and we will definitely be back next time we are in Columbus!
