Pulled into the drive thru and attempted to order an açaí bowl. Was told that the machine was down for the evening. It was 7:00pm and they close at 9:00. I then proceeded to order a smoothie. I drive around to the window and immediately the employee DJ proceeds to ask me again what I ordered.No one else was in line at the time. I told him again. Then I begin to wait for the smoothie. As I continue to wait I notice the employees talking and laughing and basically not focused on working. I see the lady who I think is supposed to be making my smoothie with ice cream all on her hands while she is talking. I blow my horn because by then I as a paying customer no longer feel comfortable with the process and cleanliness and just want my money back. Another gentleman looks at me through the window but does not come to the window. I then wave my hand and the lady looks but does not come to the window until I wave it a third time. I tell her I need the man who rung me up to come so I can get a refund. I had to repeat myself multiple times because she said she could not hear me. He finally comes to the window and he starts to do the refund but then stops to ask why I want a refund and reply that you and your staff are taking too long and your staff have been back there just taking and laughing. The customer service was bad. The man got offended and stops the process of giving me my refund and tells me to take it up with corporate. I then proceed to call the police and wait at the drive through. As some time went by. The girl then proceeds to bring me the smoothie and I refused and the after more time she brings me cash money/refund (I paid with my debit card) which consisted of coins. Some of the coins fell on the ground. I had to get out of my car to pick them up. I ask for the name of the employee who rung me up and and the lady says I am only 16 and she states she does not know the name of who rung me up because she just started working and she also states that she does not need to give her name either. I then remember I have the receipt and the name of who ring me up is DJ at store #1912. As I am picking up the coins that fell on the ground DJ the comes to the window yelling viciously get away from my window! I am the general manager get away from my window! I waited for approximately 15-20 minutes then left. This location/store used to be very professional. Not anymore. I will be filing with corporate. This store needs a complete OVERHAUL or CLOSED. Pickerington or Gahanna will continue to be my go to locations. RESPONSE: Someone called me because I also reported to corporate. We discussed the issue. The employee DJ that stated he was the General Manager while yelling and screaming was in fact NOT the GM per the representative that called me. So he lied. Read moreMy Smoothie King on E.Broad is the best. I have tried every smoothie making business around and Smoothie King is my favorite. Everyday on my way to my second job I go thru the Drive thru. Every time I pull up to order they say “Hello my name is…. What can I blend fresh for you today. I ask for substitutes and add ins and to leave a few things out. I tell them I am very picky and apologize for the order. They always respond with “no problem it’s My Pleasure”. For a business to have that kind of customer service today is very rare. The professionalism and caring attitude along with the great taste of a healthy smoothie is what keeps me coming back. The app is also great so easy to use. Rewards and $ off always helps in today’s economy. Everyone here that has served me is awesome. I want to give a special thanks to Lacey who even remembers my voice as soon as I start my order in the drive thru and now my name. She will even ask where I have been when I miss a day or two. LOL It’s nice to know I was missed. I told her they just need to add my special order smoothie after me. We laugh and with a smile always on her face while handing me my fresh smoothie blended my way out the drive thru window. Then she says “Have a wonderful day”. I vote this establishment best in Ohio. Read moreI’ve been to this location twice, the one in Dublin twice and the one in pickerington once. I’ve ordered the same thing (pumpkin coffee, pumpkin d lite and vanilla gladiator) and I’ve gotten something different each time. My kids and I just recently started coming to smoothie king as of like 2 weeks ago. We loved it so much the first time we kept coming back but todays purchase disappointed us. My 6 year old started crying when we drove away because he said his smoothie didn’t taste anything like the first one. I tasted it and it tasted like blended up ice and immune enhancing powder. My oldest son got a vanilla gladiator and was told he had to add fruit or vegetables to it. The first and second time he wasn’t told that. He liked it the first and second time. He was displeased this third time. My pumpkin coffee was uhhmazing the first time and second time. This time it tasted like pumpkin and ice blended together with nothing else.
