Well the first thing that went wrong is, I want to place an order on the app, but because I had a gift card I couldn’t use my gift card and pay the remaining amount while using the app, so forced to place an order at the screen, the price way different than online ( because it was a $1.99 Chili cheese cooney day ) leading to the next issue is at the restaurant they couldn’t honor that $1.99 price and I had to place it through the app, leading back to the issue of not being able to pay with gift card and another form of payment. So I then had them take off the cooney dogs from the order so that I could then place those on a mobile order to be able to receive them for the 1.99. Went to pay for that, they told me my gift card wasn’t working, after I had JUST called to verify how much money was available on my gift card so I know there was money on it and how much. So then being forced to feel like I had to pay for the whole order and not use my gift card was very frustrating but they had already handed us our food before finishing payment and my llttle kid had started eating it but I didn’t have enough money to pay for it all hence the reason on using the gift card. So then I had to give them everything back and just pay for what my kid had started eating. So then after dealing with all that, I then decided to do a mobile order and keep it at a balance of what I knew the gift card had an amount of and it worked, but leading back to not being able to use a gift card and alternate way. Left me having to do two separate orders plus the order at the screen ( of food my kid had already started eating before taking payment ) then we had to wait 30 minutes before receiving our second order on top of the additional waiting it took in between all the hassles having which all in all had been waiting for an hour and a half ! More of that time spent waiting for food and then saying gift card wouldn’t work ( when it infact did work- online ) and just a bunch of waiting. Along with employees being very rude !! Read moreSo I pull up to the last kiosk on the right, hit the button 8 times, nothing...then I see others getting their food that came after me. Not one person said that the one I was pulled into was broken, nor is there a sign indicating this. So I finally ask one of the servers that was bringing another persons order out is this one working...she said "that one is broken"...Why in Gods name don't they notify the customers that its broken? A sign perhaps? I went ahead and pulled into another one (stall 8 this time) and finally placed my order. The carhop that brought my food out (Eboni) was nice, and greeted me so no complaints there.
The onion rings were waay over cooked, almost burnt, so I requested a new one, I tried to eat eat them initially, but I couldn't, and really shouldn't have to do that...the 2nd ones they brought out were better, but were mashed together so I just I just delt with it...I've been to Sonic before in Macon GA area, and have had perfect onion rings, so I know how they should be cooked. The sandwich #4, was pretty good, so no complaints there, also the Strawberriy limeaid was also good.
My overall experience was a 3 out of 10... Problems to be addressed:
Orings - Over cooked OR Orings - Mashed / Little mushy Broken Kiosk - no notification...

It cost a little over $4 (which seeing the expensive for what I got) and the waffle cone was small, there was not very much ice cream in it and I requested that it be in one of the regular sundae cups so that it would not leak out the bottom. when it was finally brought out, because the wait at Sonic is so long, it was not in a cup as I requested, so I had to ask the guy that brought it out to me to please put the waffle cone in a sundae cup. He took it back in and just put it in one of their large drinking cups. By doing this, the cup was much bigger than the sundae and it was just dropped down in there so I could not enjoy eating it while enjoying the waffle cone. I had to eat it with a spoon because it was so far down in the cup and because it didn't fit it was leaning over to the side. So I feel like the person that took my order did not listen to me and therefore I did not get my order like I requested it. and when they tried to fix it, it still wasn't fixed like I asked. it was done with no thought of how it looked or if I would be able to enjoy it or not... it seemed like my request was a...
