I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to Italy arranged by Great Adventure Travel, and I cannot say enough about how amazing Angel was throughout the entire process. I wanted a trip that combined history, culture, and my Catholic faith—and she created the perfect itinerary for me.

My adventure began in Venice, where I explored Doge’s Palace and the stunning St. Mark’s Basilica. The square and the charm of the islands made me fall in love with Venice instantly. From there, I traveled to Florence, where I enjoyed a city tour and visited the magnificent Duomo. Angel even arranged the schedule so I could attend English Mass at the Duomo, which was such a meaningful touch. I also experienced a lovely winery visit and explored the beautiful walled city of San Gimignano.

The final part of my trip took me to Rome, where I had an incredible food tour by golf cart, a day at the Colosseum and Forum, and the moving experience of attending the Papal Audience. My visits to the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel were absolutely breathtaking. Angel arranged all private tours, which I would highly recommend. One especially meaningful day was spent with a private Catholic guide, who took me to the major basilicas of Rome—St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, and St. Paul Outside the Walls—along with St. Clement, St. Peter in Chains, and even the opportunity to climb the Holy Stairs. It was truly a spiritual highlight of my journey.

Angel is kind of a miracle worker - no joke. We contacted her for a very last minute spring break with a vague "on a beach in the Caribbean" request, after failing at making our own plans. What she pulled off for us in a few weeks was nothing short of incredible!

She worked with our budget and adjusted with us as we adjusted preferences, she made some pretty well informed suggestions on some of our choices, and gently guided us into a an amazing vacation. In the end, we got to a quiet, family-friendly, amazing island that we never would have thought of ourselves (and it was her recommendation). It was truly the best vacation I've had in my 50 some years of trying hard to have great vacations... and it exceeded my family's expectations by a LONG shot.

But Angel was able to get all of this together while making it really easy on us, too. She'd send some options, we'd discuss by email, adjust, approve, and she just really made it effortless for us to get to the point where we were able to get to this amazing vacation spot sleeping a few steps from the beach, just like we asked. All on short notice, and during spring break. And with a spot-on island recommendation. And with no details left out (like car from airport to resort, etc). Next time we will give her more notice, but all our vacations will be through Angel from now on.

Angel has been a life-saver in addition to a cost-saver and stress-reducer! She has been planning vacations for our family for many years now.
