Buckeye Inn Express — Hotel in Columbus

Had to stay here for a few days w/ my family, and it honestly wasn't the best experience. When we got to the hotel, they charged us a $100 "Security deposit" fee. Walking to our room felt like it took forever, and the entire building was dimly lit and stunk of cigarettes. They gave us a code to get into our room instead of a card which also took a good amount of time to enter correctly, and when we finally got inside of our room, nearly every surface was dirty, and I highly doubt the bedsheets & towels were cleaned after whoever stayed last. Ants crawling everywhere, roaches and spiders in the hall, and during the night of the first stay, some guy came up to our window, clearly on drugs, trying to get inside. Our mom called the front desk & they claimed to call security but it seems like nothing happened. Overall a very terrifying and dirty experience, but I guess you get what you paid for? I was in a rush to find a room and stumbled upon this place just because it was near the freeway. I was on the commode using it and a small mouse ran across my feet from under the sink. I called the front desk to tell them and he acted surprised and said he’s never heard of that. I’m so upset but kinda not surprised because of where this place is located.
