First time visiting, didn’t expect too much, however, my expectations were exceeded.
This food doesn’t taste like fast food. I was expecting a similar experience to Taco Bell.
At first glance the menu seemed overwhelming, and I didn’t know what to order. I decided on a grilled chicken quesadilla and a regular beef taco, just to sample their food,
The taco was very good, the shell was a soft taco shell fried/grilled like restaurants do, not like Taco Bell at all. All of the ingredients were top notch and flavorful, and also very fresh, particularly the lettuce, pico de gallo. The sour cream was also very good, and they gave a large serving of each.
The quesadilla was far better than Taco Bell. I couldn’t believe how good the grilled chicken was. This is quality you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant no doubt. The hot sauce is very good too and not too hot just right. I can’t attest to the mild sauce, only the hot. It isn’t overbearing but is also spicy.
I will be returning to try their other menu items, probably the Quesa Birria. The menu is also broad, as opposed to having a few items, they have quite a few options to...
Read moreFood is consistent with offerings at the other locations. One recommendation I would give to anyone trying victors for the first time is stay away from the combos they are and always have been the weakest point for this place and are extremely lack luster , but at this location its worse as it's slopped in the container with no care at all barely warm and all mixed together already for some reason topped with soggy lettuce. Dont let my review on the combos steer you away though as that's just a small portion of the menu. Just order individual tacos or burritos and you will always be happy here. I personally love there carnitas or shrimp burrito. When I want surf and turf I will add shrimp to the carnitas burrito. Service at this location leaves a bit to be desired compared to other locations. Felt extremely rushed and unwelcomed at this location and also wasn't asked which sauces I would like, he just swung the food out the window like a sack of potato's and didn't say a word. If I were at the Delaware or Powell location this would be 5 stars for sure. I hope this location works...
Read moreWow, where do I start, I am shocked by the amount of 5 star reviews. Underwhelming, under seasoned, and inedible best describe my first and last experience. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and while the portion size was spot on the beans and rice were both not edible. Tasted absolutely vile and old. The rice had to be a couple days old and the beans were so gross that even canned beans would have tasted better. The chicken inside of the chimichanga was dry and not seasoned at all. I ordered a steak street taco and a birria street tacos and both could not be finished. They were served on a cold corn tortillas. The steak was so tough it was hard to eat. The birria was more like shredded chicken in both taste and consistency. The only thing I enjoyed was the queso and even that was something clearly from a can or bottle. I would steer clear if you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. The prices are very reasonable but the food...
