Dollar Tree — Local services in Columbus

I stopped in here yesterday and I spent a good time shopping because I was shopping for 3 ppl during this time I placed everything into my cart like normal I originally had a coat on but during shopping even took it off cause I got hot and then had a tiny bag on me for a purse which is a backpack type and was clearly on my back or in the cart bur I wasn't messing with it. When I was almost done an employee came up to me to let me know I wouldn't be able to use the self check out because of the amount of items I had would make the self check out "throw a fit" which I responded that that was fine but I explained I was shopping for 3 people and. Would just need to separate my items real quick in my cart and so standing right by the registers where i was in clear sight. I separated my items, and while doing so, again an employee came up to me asking me if I was done and if I was ready to which I then told this employee that I was just going to need a few to separate my items because again I'm shopping for 3 people. So then I go up to the register and I know the first transaction was around 45 something and then the second was another 55 during this the cashier repeatedly had an attitude with me and literally was treating me like I was trying to rob them or something. Not once did I do anything that could have been even thought to have been stolen and if so I opened my purse right there in front of them all while digging out my wallet. 2 times other ppl came up to try to also get their stuff rung out and mind you I still needed mine to be split up either way and so trying to not have these people having to wait for me I two different times once I finished each transaction said I'll stand back behind them in line even said I could just push my cart over by them so that the person behind me with 5 items doesn't have to wait for another 50 items to be rang up because isn't that the polite thing to do??? Both times i was met with attitude about how they cab use the self check out and then once my stuff was rang up I stated well ill need a minute just like I said I would for that transaction because someone else was sending me the money for their stuff and again the lady is huffing and puffin at me and getting an attitude and at this point complete honesty yes I full on was returning the attitude because I had done literally nothing to be treated that way. If they thought I was stealing idk what they thought I couldn't pay for seeing as I had already in total spent over 100 with the store and was prepared to spend at least another 30 and so instead of that I picked out aa couple of things I was buying for my 6 year old daughter and paid for them and said forget the last bit because I was literally being treated like I was running for the door while literally spent do much extra time in there doing the exact opposite. If your store has a lot of theft then okay deal with the people stealing don't come at someone who has the money to pay for my things and clearly am paying for my things and then have an attitude with me. Like are you upset because you had to do your job? Yet you are the one who came to me saying that I needed to come to u when I was ready to which I had no problem with either way Honestly that experience alone made me feel so judged and out of place for literally no reason at all. I have a 6 year old who is adhd and to keep her busy during the cold months I get all kinds of arts and crafts things for us to do and obviously the dollar tree is a good place for me to do that but after that experience I will not be returning at least to...

If I was able to put a negative star I would.I stopped in to this store quickly today to pick up a few things.Other than the fact that there were no baskets to put my things in the real issue I had was with the cashier.I go to reach for a separator bar to put in between my items and another ladies.Mind you, you really don't notice the other ones where they are laying.This cashier was extremely RUDE.Pretty much grabbing the one i had partially in my hand to instruct me to use the others.I think i was in shock.I work customer service Daily.You cannot treat people this way, PERIOD.I could and would never treat someone this way.Leave your issues at home.This woman.had me in tears by the time i reached my car.I will NOT return to...

The older lady with the warts/freckles was eating!!! While handling people’s purchases including mine. She had an attitude right off the bat demanded I empty out the basket when that’s HER JOB!!! My kids even commented on her very poor work ethic, and demeanor towards customers. I’ll never come back here all the other employees seemed to be doing an amazing job including the gentleman at the 1st register. It’s such a bummer too because they have a great selection of Christmas items but during covid and her eating and handling my things was too much. Then she wants me to do half her job.
