I showed up at 10:27am and was the only person in line to order (as I was using a gift card and therefore unable to use the kiosks, which are credit card only). (I would have shown up earlier, and have in the past, but the lunch menu is only served from 10:30am onwards) I waited for 15 minutes (while three staff members were working on two orders) before my order was taken. I waited for my order of a $5 biggie bag (as the only order for ten minutes, before others started coming in) for 23 minutes. Here is my complete order: a double-stack with no mustard, no ketchup. Small fries. 4-piece regular chicken nuggets. Small drink. I had to leave due to time restraints (this Wendy's is on campus and I am currently a student), and had to just pick up what was completed of my order- which I had been told was done, had been marked as ready on the board, and then removed from the board (as picked up) roughly 7 minutes prior to me needing to leave. The staff member who helped me by giving me what was ready of my order (small fries and a 4-piece regular chicken nuggets, as the small drink cup is given on ordering) told me that the grill was not even warmed up.
I understand time concerns and that fast food can get busy, and it is important to be gracious about time. If it was only a matter of the length of time it took to get my order, then I would take all responsibility- that's on my time management. However, the staff misled me on how far along my order was, removed it from the board before it had been picked up or even completed, and was very poor in terms of clear communication. The staff was nice, but ultimately I would not recommend this Wendy's if you have another food option. I would definitely recommend not going here unless you can pay via credit card on the kiosk or via ordering online or if you have an hour to spare minimum to wait for food; this is my second time ordering from here where the staff did not take any in-person orders for a significant period of time, which leads me to believe this is a pattern. There is a McDonald's just down the block that has a much better sense of...
Read moreI visited this Wendy’s location yesterday and ordered fries after an appointment. However, upon returning to pick up my food, I couldn't find it in the pickup area. When I asked one of the workers, presumably the manager, about my order, he responded in a hostile and disrespectful manner, insisting that I had already picked it up and that he had seen me on camera doing so. Despite my repeated assurances that I hadn't received my order, he continued to accuse me. It was demeaning and discriminatory for him to assume I was someone else and to handle the situation in such an aggressive manner. Eventually, after realizing his mistake, he instructed someone to prepare a large fry order for me, but he failed to apologize or acknowledge his error. The lack of customer service skills displayed by this individual was appalling, and as a result, I will NEVER return to this...
Read moreOh the bag of disappointment, it's what you get every time you go there. After eating here 3 times a week for the last 3 months, I honestly have nothing positive I can say. The staff and shift managers are happy to make you wait while they check their phone, are rude in nearly all interaction and seem not to care as there is only a 3 of 5 chance of getting the order correct. I actually had a lady throw a BBQ packet at me when I asked for the one she forgot and did so in front of her manager, who said nothing but did laugh. Update my order was wrong again but when I asked for the sandwich I paid for they just laughed at me. Wendy's Corporate can do nothing as it is franchise. I am so glad I don't have to ever come back here. OSU get something healthy to take their place or anything else as it...
