Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

Completely incompetent staff. I ordered online and showed up 5-10 min after it was due to be completed. After waiting 5 min before even being acknowledged by anyone, a staff member first tried to locate my order but then just randomly drifted away. I thought he was either working on my order or looking for it. He was doing neither as I later found out. After 5-10 min of this, I then interrupted another staff member. I was informed they received my order but had no clue where it was. She then asked if I’d like them to make my order, it would only take 10 min, it took 15-20 min. I wonder when they would have told me they couldn’t find my order had I not interrupted the staff. I was in the store 40 min. Customers came in after me, placed orders in person, and left before me. All I got was tiny discount and a whoops, sorry!!...

Ordered online. Email said 60 minutes. I live 5 minutes away. At 60+15 minutes I called. First guy told me it could be another 20-30 minutes, the driver had my pizza but was out on 4 stops. I got upset so he put me on the phone with a manager. I told her I live so close I would have gone to pick up if I had known it would take this long. She said, "he was wrong, it will be there in 5 minutes", so I hung up. 20 minutes later (now 60+35 minutes), still no pizza. We had to leave the house, so I called and cancelled.

Horrible service. I ordered online, so they have my phone number. A text would be so simple. Instead, they don't care and act like it's not their fault. Papa Romanos or any of the other 10 close pizza places will get my business...

I have been patronizing Hungry Howie's on Orchard Lake in Keego Harbor for over 20 years but I must say the pizza is at an all time low. I’ve gotten to the point where we cannot depend upon them to deliver a good pizza at dinner time. Last night was the worst. Pizza rose like baking a cake with pizza& cheese. It was a very dry pizza. I asked fir a Greek salad minus tomatoes. What I got delivered to me was a cross between a Greek salad chef salad it had lettuce greens, beets, jalapeños, red onion, olives, hard salami.
