Willson's Pub 'n Grill — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

The lighting is dark and the whole front of the house is dull Over half the menu is made in a microwave Service is terrible Do not ask for drinks that aren't on the menu, the bartenders are not actually bar tenders The bar tenders barely know how to make what is on the very small drink menu The menu is overcrowded with garbage, only a few options are worth buying if you can even say stepping in that depressing restaurant is worth it. Very poor management From what I am told by some acquaintances who work there or have in the past, the staff is severely underpaid. I am not sure if it is a sports bar or a family restaurant, the decor fits neither The restaurant as a whole is unsanitary The prices are way too high for what they serve I would not bring a date here, I would not bring my family here, I would not eat here, I would not drink here, and I would not watch a game here. I am surprised this place has been open as long as it has been, and if the health department swung by they probably wouldn't be. Save some money and have a way better experience down the road at Kickstand Brewing Company or head a town over to either J Bird in Keego Harbor or The Root...

We order boneless chicken bites. They were dark, dark brown and were either over cooked or cooked twice. tasted like the oil or the chicken was old. Rubbery and not good. Also, asked for ranch and bbq sauce. They gave us sour cream and salsa.

Next we ordered onion rings. They looked OK, but they all seemed to be made of the skin of the onion, once we bit into them, like the outer layer that I would throw away when peeling an onion. Couldn't even break the onion with my teeth. Horrible

Finally, I ordered a Reuben Sandwich. The corned Beef was rubbery and the sauerkraut was just as bad and soggy. There was hardly any kraut on it as well. For $11.50, I've had a fresher better Reuben at Arby's.

This is the first time I've written a review online about a food establishment. But take some pride. As soon as I opened the box, I knew it wasn't going to be good. I will not be spending my money at this location again. worst $30 on food I've spent in a long time. My guess is the owner is no longer engaged in the business.

Not a good experience... We sat on the bar side since all the booths were taken. Our server (the bartender), Sheri, was rude and seemed drunk. She wouldn't let us order food until our appetizer came out, she literally snapped at us saying "we will start with drinks and an appetizer for now, K?" And we just sat there in silence. My boyfriend and I were taken back by the attitude she said it with. When we were sipping on our not very well made drinks, she walked over and said to my boyfriend "you're giving me weird looks, are you sure you're of age?" In a SNIPPY tone - we're both in our LATE twenties, of course we're of age and she already had checked our ID's prior to making our drinks. The appetizer (baked pretzel bites) were nothing more than warmed up Hawaiian roll pretzels from Walmart and warmed up nacho cheese. The fish and chips were greasy and not great, and the shrimp tacos were not good at all, absolutely no flavor besides a weird sauce. Our drinks didn't even taste like long islands. $70 for a mediocre dinner and a seemingly drunk bartender is crazy and we will not be...
