Epic Pizza — Restaurant in Commerce Charter Township

I am a picky person about my food, probably borderline neurotic but I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I have lots of special requests for my orders and epic is more than accommodating. The cheese is great as were the toppings, they also have a ton of toppings that are not just bagged ingredients (ie. italian sausage nuggets from the chain pizzerias) , they also have artichokes which is a must for me. I am excited to have found this place especially since the only other place that has even come close to this type of quality is forty minutes away from me, where as epic is only ten or twelve. Also, some people think that this place is expensive but when compared to the chains, it really is not, especially once you take into account that their medium is a large size at the big chains, if I was them I would change that because they would probably get less complaints. I actually work for a chain and compared the price to our price for the same pizza and it was actually almost two dollars less at epic than at Jet's. Very satisfied and will be ordering...

Just seeing how they only respond to 5 start reviews and ignore all other reviews speaks volumes about this business and the people who work there. They do not care about the disappointed customers or trying to improve. They get 3 stars because the service was excellent but the food was mediocre. Pizza dough/crust was terrible, sauce was bland, bread sticks were very plain. This was the first time we tried this place and we will not be going back. If you order online check your total, they add a "support local fee" which is ridiculous extra fees just to make a little extra from each customer. Edited on 2/8/2024:. I see over a year later the "owner" decided to respond, and what a great response to show what a classy place this is. Oh wait it's not open anymore, I guess serving fast food quality food while charging 5 star prices doesn't work...

I tried making an order for delivery, when I called they seemed very confused I was put on hold then the person who came to the phone was very rude, when I said I wanted a delivery she goes now or later, I said now and continued with what I wanted. My order would have been around $15 (before a delivery fee) and she said we have a $20 min sorry. I told they need to update their website, inform people when they first call, and not be so rude. Plus they should have just done the delivery it's not like I was far off from 20 and nowhere did it state that there is a minimum.
