Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Compton

Decided to try this location despite reading the negative reviews. Figured, how could they mess up a pepperoni and sausage pizza? Well, the pizza itself was, meh. I was actually going to spare them another mediocre review, UNTIL I checked my bank statement online and realized that they charged me twice! I called and spoke with a young lady. She was as empathetic as she could be considering she does not have the authority to correct mistakes. This angry post is specifically regarding the passive-aggressive manager, "Maria"! She tried to blame my bank for their error. (Summation of the problem: Pizza cost = $8.81. I gave a $1.00 tip, totaling $9.91. My card was charged once for $8.81 and again for $9.91.) Maria insisted that they only charged me once and still insisted that my bank was to blame. How does my bank know I gave a $1.00 tip? This makes no sense! So, the suggested resolution is to wait until Monday to see if one of the charges is reversed. If not, I'll be there on Monday to get a refund for one of the fraudulent charges! You can bet I'll listen to reviews next time! Never again, Compton Pizza Hut!...

I have ordered from this store for delivery three times. I ordered the pepperoni pizza melt, cinnamon sticks and a 20 oz. Pepsi. Each time the delivery was brought my soda was never delivered. I called the store each time and all I received was attitude and saying that they could only do store credit which I didn’t want. The manger gave me attitude and blamed it on the DoorDasher for not picking up my soda when picking up my order but then said that when the Dashers picks up the order they hand them the order. When I called yesterday about the same problem I kept getting put on hold. When I told them that this was the 3rd time this happened their response was “Oh well maybe my people aren’t checking the tickets like they are suppose to and I’ll have to make sure that they are checking the tickets when orders are being picked up”. Their costumer service is horrible and I will no longer be ordering from this store...

The customer service is great at this location. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted and offered the deals of the menu. I always get my pizza in the appropriate timeframe or they will offer you free bread sticks for the wait. The manager, Heidi, is always courteous and will resolve all of the customer's complaints with guaranteed satisfaction for the customer. I went in and was not offered complimentary cheese and peppers and the manager addressed the issue and gave me a generous amount. The delivery time is always timely and my pizza still arrives steaming hot and yet I live in the border of Long Beach. Other local pizza huts' dough near me does not have the same quality taste as this location does. Keep...
