Sunny Express GFF Vegan-Mexican-Chinese — Restaurant in Compton

10/10 on food and service. Everyone is so nice and help you order a good meal. The Chinese food is straight up American Chinese and I LOVE IT, so flavorful like the drumbsticks, chow mein, loins, kung paos when I ordered takeout from Sunny's a handful of times from the plant based Chinese menu and it was SO FREAKING DELICIOUS that I ordered catering for the office.

One person said they wanted to put their face in the eggplant tofu it tasted that fantastic.

Only thing is I may have over estimated how much people would eat, we will enjoy the leftovers for breakfast/lunch

One thing I did notice that the first day I tried the jackfruit stirfry (an off menu item that Sunny's very kindly obliged my request for upon request ) it tasted a bit salty--but after marinating overnight and when I tried it again for lunch the next day it had lessened in salt and the jackfruit flavor came through very well. It paired very well with the fried rice! I am eager to try the mexican seasoning version for next time.

Oh and the aqua fresca MAN that was so refreshing and I am in love with the passion fruit juice. 1st review: This my second time ordering here. Its a build your own 2 entree combo....Veggie Meat Combo with side. / The Secret Special Menu Veggie combo are $12. There's 4 different veggies to choose from: orange cauliflower, tofu eggplant, and 2 others I have not tried yet. 2 x now I have usually gotten 2 vegan combos here and it was absolutely delicious. Hearty portion size so enough food for 3 meals in those 2 combos. I love the vegan Chinese menu and I'm looking forward to checking out the Mexican menu. Thanks Rigo...

About a year ago, I ordered catering from Sunny Express for my baby shower after a friend highly recommended them — and I’m so glad I did! From start to finish, the service was absolutely amazing.

When I first inquired, the team was incredibly helpful and patient, guiding me through the catering options and making sure everything I chose would be a hit. I was able to sample a few items beforehand, and honestly, it was hard to decide because everything was so delicious.

I had several vegan guests attending and wanted to make sure they felt included — Sunny Express delivered on that and more. The food was so good that even the non-vegans were going back for seconds. We basically had no leftovers by the end of the party 😅

The day of the event, the team arrived right on time, helped set everything up, and were as friendly and professional as ever. They truly helped make the day stress-free and special.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped that day and to the amazing cooks behind the scenes who made such bomb food. Can’t wait to order again!
