Concord Bagel — Restaurant in Concord Township

As a northern NJ native I’ve been trying to find a bagel place that is at least close to what I used to get. I was cautiously optimistic from the past reviews but let down again. I’m sure compared to other places in the area it’s great but not up to my standards. I ordered lox and cream cheese on a plain bagel ( had to repeat my order a few times for them to understand it) and I did t ask for anything else. They added the capers and onion of their lox sandwich which I did not order and the amount of cream cheese they put on was pitiful. The bagel itself was about as good as I’ve seen around here. Exceptional bagels, incredible breakfast, and quick, friendly service. If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you’ll see I really only review places I love or those I’d advise avoiding. This place I loved! I got the Breakfast Special: choice of bagel (Everything), egg (or two), and meat (sausage). Highly recommend, so good in fact I had to take some home, so I got Everything and Plain bagels with Plain and Strawberry cream cheese. When I got home, one of my sons who especially loves bagels told me that this was his favorite bagel in the area, which is saying a lot. Stopped in to check this place out as we are always up for a good bagel. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We ordered bagel sandwiches and lattes. The bagel sandwiches were excellent! They used real eggs. The bagels were soft and flavorful. The only reason I rated this place a 4 was the lattes which we both felt tasted watered down and were lacking in flavor. That being said we would certainly return for the food....
