From the moment that I walked in I noticed a calming feel about this restaurant, the staff were busy the customers were served and the aroma of good cooking filled the air. The menu was consistent with the theme of the restaurants name Fish and fixins. They had everything from delicious vegtable sides like collard greens and fried okra, to home made macaroni cheese to Cole slaw this place seems to understand what sides best accompany the main course. The fresh smell of Croaker reminded me of my younger days when on Fridays my mom would fry up several pieces of this delicious fish and the sight of their golden brown Flounder, Talapia and Witing brought back memories of my time as a young cook at the local fish camp. The customer sitting two tables away from me delighted on their golden brown crispy chicken wings and I could tell that with every bite she experienced a little piece of heaven. The restaurant has two large television that were playing perfectly in the background and provided just enough volume to keep the atmosphere complete. The staff worked like a well oiled machine with smiles that signalled that they too enjoyed their provisions of great food friendly smiles and a warm sense of purpose. Stop by and ask for the chicken Philly all the way with fries and I promise that you'll be amazed at the quality and value of this establishment. So I'll wrap up my review with this phrase I had an experience and not...
Read morePeople are wonderful. It was very busy and they were understaffed so the wait was long. The food was good but looked a little thrown together. I ordered to take out. The order wasn't unusually big but when I got home I found that I was missing an order of mac&cheese and an order of baked beans. That was disappointing because that was the only thing my son wanted to eat and it wasn't there. I didn't bother to go back as it was already 8:00pm and they closed at 8. I didn't call either because their phone was ringing off the hook. I decided just to take the loss and mention it in my review. I'll still try them again sometime in the future and hopefully have a better outcome. We need to support out small, locally-owned, minority businesses even through the bumps. Now they know how popular and busy they're going to be and they will be able to hire more help as their business continues to grow. Keep growing your dream!! Hard work makes...

I had a taste for fish and chips and checked out the reviews here! On arrival, you order from the till on the left as you enter! They have menus there too!
I asked the chap at the counter about the fish batter and he explained it was a dry batter and yes deep fried!
I had the flounder (sandwich) combo with the chips (French Fries) and a soda! (Tartare sauce on the side).
The fish and chips were made fresh while I waited and I chose to dine in! The atmosphere was very friendly and Lisa came over to chat as I finished my meal - which was very nice!
The fish sandwich was very tasty - nice batter and not at all greasy! The chips were decent too - and they had malt vinegar - yay! (You have to ask for it as they don't have it on the table - likewise ketchup/hot sauce)!
I shall definitely be telling my friends about this shop - and will most certainly...
