Granted, we didn't come here for wine, but for the ambiance. Such a sweet little spot. But, we did order food and that was the mistake. First of all, serving food on plastic plates?? C'mon. Our appetizer was a small scoop of goat cheese, some pita chips (yes, the ones you can buy at the grocery store), a cut up apple and honey in a to-go plastic cup. For $6?? I was thinking, "are they serious?" The roasted red pepper and gouda soup was ok, though it wasn't even hot enough to melt the gouda which was in chunks throughout. I also got a BLT with blue cheese on it that was just not good. There was so much blue cheese that it completely overpowered the entire sandwich. Honestly, the food was a complete fail. But, maybe the wine is amazing. The redeemable qualities were the ambiance and our dear, kind waitress. I'll never be back. I've been to wine bars where the food is impeccable. Read moreGreat wine and music but eat someplace else. Great live music on Saturday night and the house red wine was perfect. However when I got my dinner I thought I was being punked. Not worth the $9 price tag. Listening to the music I decided to treat myself to dessert. Asked for the dessert menu and it was brought out. 40 minutes I'm still waiting to order. I turned around to see inside thinking they were extremely busy. NO! NOT A SINGLE PERSON INSIDE, just 2 employees chit chatting behind the counter. After this I was done, got my check and left. I'll stick to the nearby restaurants for good food but I'll come back...
Read moreFirst , the place isnt bad. Good food choices and liquor. Food was average at best.
Not sure why there was only 1 person working the place. Especially on a Saturday lunch time. Little ridiculous. Management definitely needs to stick a help wanted sign on the window. The woman serving us was busting her hump and did what she could to provide a good experience. But still. Thats not right! Walking in and seeing no one , especially no one at the bar serving, is not a good look for customers.
Id like to see actually plates being used in the bar area Instead of paper plates as well. Throw the paper plates in the trash and upgrade please.
I cant say id recommend this place from what I seen. They definitely need to upgrade the plates, food,...
