iSlice Pizza — Restaurant in Concord

This incident is specific at iSlice Pizza at Sunvalley Shopping Center Food Court. HOW GROSS !!!!! I REALLY MEANT NOT TO GIVE ANY STAR. 3/25/2022 at about 1:30 pm, I came to this iSlice Pizza to try how good it is. A young man came out from the back door wearing a pair of gloves and took my order. WHILE STILL WEARING HIS PAIR OF GLOVES, HE TOOK MY ORDER, TOUCHED THE REGISTER, TOOK MY MONEY, GAVE ME MY CHANGE THEN PROCEEDED TO PREPARE MY SLICE . HE TOOK THE FIRST INGREDIENT WITHOUT CHANGING HIS GLOVES. (THESE GLOVES WERE WHAT HE WAS USING WHILE HE WAS INSIDE THE BACK DOOR). I was upset and told the young man what he was doing wrong with his dirty gloves to preparing the pizza. HE ANSWERED THAT HE COULD WASH HIS GLOVES!!! OMG! I TOLD HIM HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CHANGE HIS GLOVES TO PREPARE FOOD AFTER USING IT FROM DOING OTHER THINGS. I asked him to stop preparing my pizza and to refund my money. We discovered this place when we were at an event at Todos Santos Plaza. They sell pizza by the slice or a whole pie. My son loves by the slice pizza places and there aren't any in our area anymore. The pizza is very good. I've only had the pepperoni and it was delicious. In fact, we just discovered this place on Saturday and by the end of the week on Friday, he had me stop by there twice to get him dinner from there. Definitely give it a try. Besides the employee that was rude and clearly angry to help, the pizza crust doesn’t have enough yeast to rise and crisp. It was flaccid like their integrity. The toppings are hard to find on a combo since there are hardly any. They used what looked like, when I could find it, cheap dollar store lunch meat. The Hawaiian pizza was insulting. Only decent aspect of the pizza was the sauce which was alright. Seems like they’re just not aware of how to make a proper pizza, instead choose to deliver less than a 7-11 pizza.
