Initial impression was great, the sales woman had good customer service. The selection was not bad at all. We ended up buying a sofa set. After all of that we returned to a completely different store. First the sales women said she would call us the next day so we could pick up my furniture. But no call was ever given. I had to call the delivery center or warehouse to confirm my pickup. When I arrived the original sales woman we saw was busy with some guest so I approached a gentleman that was sitting down at a desk. I have to point out that on this day they where receiving more show room furniture and had carpets half rolled up on the floor( VERY DANGEROUS) . Anyways the guy was not having a good day. As he looked up my order I can tell he was not in a good mood. He said "we tried to call you but we couldn't reach you." That was a lie but it was a hot day so I told him it was okay and where should I park to load up my sofa. He told me to pull up to the entrance and he would bring it out. I said fine and went to back to get me car. Once I was at the entrance. I waited for him for about 15mins but he never came out. I went back inside to to tell him I was ready. All he can say was " Where were you ? We were waiting for you and you never showed up". I told him that I went to grab my car that was at the end of the parking lot(for the shade). This guy made me want to cancel the whole thing. So after helping load up one of two pieces. I told him I would be back for the second piece. When I got back I notice they had my second piece outside with know one watching it. It was just put outside for anyone to pick up. This was the last time I give me business to a local furniture store. This placing is very misleading and unprofessional. Do not go here unless you want to be lied to , have trip hazards , meet rude employees and have your furniture left outside for...
Read moreI wish I could do less than one star. HORRIBLE customer service. Once you are at the store they are all sweet and of course, quick to take your money! We bought couches on Saturday, scheduled delivery for today; Tuesday. Our delivery was scheduled in between 3-4 pm. That time comes and no delivery. So we call and apparently “the order was not placed” meaning they got our money but the delivery was the least of their concern. We are asking for a refund at this point because we spent a good amount, even took the day off work to await the delivery. They try to negotiate by pushing our delivery back to THURSDAY, including a “$200” refund; of course we did not agree to that. They then say they’ll deliver by 5-6 pm, again no call. We went to the store at 6 and asked them for a refund because at this point they are playing in my face about my money. She then says they’ll deliver by 6-7 because they are “coming from antioch”, at this point it’s around 6:40. They eventually show up right before 7. Our couches are wrapped in clear wrap. Even tho at the store we were told the delivery men were coming from antioch, their warehouse. You would think your “new furniture” will be in boxes. They bring in the couches and ironically they look exactly like the couches I saw unassembled when I went to the store, they had unassembled them to deliver them to my house thinking I would not notice. I asked the delivery men if these were coming from the warehouse or store and they confirm that they were ordered to deliver these to me from their store, yes we got the displays. This is so unprofessional, promising something and delivering another. Making me pay full price to give me display couches. I do not recommend this store what so ever. The worst...
Read moreThis is the 2nd time I have purchased from DFW. The first time, they upsold a delivery & assembly charge. Turns out the piece came preassembled and they just took it out of the box. The piece was small and light enough I could have easily moved it myself.
This second time is more egregious.
Upon delivery, the company repeatedly mishandled the sofa, dropping it from the truck as well as several times when attempting to get it onto the dolly. Once moved into the backyard, the movers broke off 3 complete branches of our orange tree. When attempting to move into the house, they attempted to force the sofa through the door (I'm seriously surprised the sofa didn't rip). During this point, the sofa caught on the door paneling and ripped it off. The paneling and weather seal was broken off at about 3" wide and 2 feet long. Nearly every day for the past 2 weeks I have been calling and leaving messages trying to get our delivery fee refunded, yet have not heard a word from them. I have been calling their administration line directly, which is the same number I used to get replacement legs for the sofa that they broke when dropping it off the truck. It took a week to get replacement legs, and still no acknowledgment of breaking our door.
All in all, the products are great, but DO NOT have them...
