After my sister and I had moved my daughter in to her new apartment in Kannapolis and before we took the ride back to Raleigh we stopped off at Logan's Roadhouse. Since I basically have to be extremely careful about what I eat I just decided on wings with just a little sauce what came out was the wings drenched in the buffalo sauce. What made it worse was the high sodium content of the wings. My sister called the waitress excuse me the server over who's actually very sweet and I had explained and she went back in the kitchen to find out what happened since she had written up what I had asked for. What was relayed to us was that it's either with the sauce or without the sauce it couldn't be on the side. Which normally probably wouldn't have been an issue but if that is the only way the order can be done it should be explained from the kitchen to the server to the customer and then allow the customer to make the decision. The server went to the manager on duty that evening and please forgive me I forgot his name and it took him approximately 15 minutes to come out because he was on a call. He was friendly failed to introduce himself so I introduced myself and then he introduced himself. I had explained my dilemma and he reiterated the same thing that was told to the server and I have the receipt to explain to him then if that's the case then if a customer does ask for sauce on the side or lightly sauce at least the server will know that this can't be done and again allow the customer to make the final decision on the food. Now I will say I had to bring up what he can do for what I had received something he should have immediately offered as a manager to a dissatisfied customer. He did offer to have the wings redone plane but at this point my sister had already finished her meal and we really had to get on the road. He stated it would only take 3 minutes to get wings back out at that point I was skeptical because either those wings are pre-cooked and eat it or they won't be cooked enough and therefore creating another issue so I suggested to him to take something off of the bill did not expect for the whole wing that I ordered to be taken off but I expected something again I suggested this not the manager and he complies but it left me with going home starving and very disappointed. Since my daughter is now living in the area I sincerely doubt that I would ever go back which is sad because it really look like a fun place to be at! As I mentioned all the time communication it's extremely important in any business and job and that's where most places will...
Read moreLet me set the stage for you. I have had a horrible week. My grandfather passed yesterday. And it’s two days before Christmas. I am scrambling to get last minute Christmas shopping done. It It is 930 at night and I am hungry so we decide to go to Logan’s. We walk in get seated, and the waitress who’s name is Andrea is talking to the table next to us which is an elderly couple. She taps the table and says she’ll be right with us. She’s trying to close them out but make sure and give them her undivided attention at the same time letting us know she will be right with us. At that point, I’m frustrated because I Am thirsty and hungry and I tell my boyfriend it’s time to go! Let’s go somewhere else. At That time as I get it out my mouth she comes over and apologizes. She was very genuine and apologizing and got our order. Food came out. It was delicious. Steak perfectly cooked! Her personality shined through and gave us good conversation and built good rep-ore with us . Throughout the meal I continue to watch my surroundings, and the manager Tim is helping out with each waitress running food asking if we need anything working the crew and working the crowd, I have never been so Impressed with the teamwork that he displayed along with other members of the staff who were delivering food and drinks. At that point, I tell my boyfriend I’m so glad we did not leave. She was definitely a hard worker and worked each table, fast and thoroughly, and very personally. She connected with each table and carried on small talk to make us feel like we had known her forever. I am so glad that we had such a great experience in such a stressful week. There needs to be more teamwork like this around! I wish there was more Andreas and Tim’s in the restaurant workforce! To be honest any workforce! Everyone worked as a team. Did I mention that my boyfriend spilt the water all over the table? And they were so kind about it and didn’t make us feel bad for spilling! After my grandpa passing in the week I had had they do not know how much that meant to me. It’s the little things and act of kindness, and working together as a team that goes along way! They both deserve a raise, and I have never seen a manager like him work as hard as he did. We will definitely be back and I was very impressed and not to mention the food was absolutely amazing and steak was cooked perfectly and those...
Read moreThe bathrooms need serious attention. My husband and I have complained several times. The toilet paper dispenser in the women’s handicap stall has been missing a very long time and the paper is exposed and dirty. Last three times we went we complained about it and were told they had one on order. Each visit was about a month apart. Still no dispenser. We told them we would not be back on our last trip. We have been eating here for years. Sometimes several times a month. That’s not our only complaint, there are so many to list. But I will say that my mother, mother n law and I have become severely sick from the ice in the drinks a few times. I know it was the ice because I was in the hospital while my husband and mother stopped to eat at Logan’s after visiting me on a Monday and he had a beer no ice and she had a diet soda with ice. They both had the exact same meal. When she got home she began throwing up with diarrhea and very sick. Two days later I was released from the hospital with an ileostomy bag, and my husband took me to eat at Logan’s. Again the exact same meals, but he had a beer no ice and I had an unsweet tea with ice. When we got home, I was throwing up severely. My ileostomy bag was filling up and burst, and he had to rush me back to the hospital again because I was so sick. The only thing in common between the two times was the ice in the drinks for me and my mother. Prior to that I’ve been sick before, but didn’t have anything to reference it with and same with my mother-in-law and mother until this event. I did file a complaint with the health department, but did not hear anymore from them. Logan’s Roadhouse has lost a really...
