Hole in the walls always attract me for some reason, as did this place. No frills, insufficient lighting, not much in terms or decor or table service. Get past that and the fact that they serve primarily tacos and non alcoholic beverages and you are in for a feast of a kind. Tacos, fresh, well prepared, generous in terms of meat portions, corn or flour tortillas, done right, served fast and taste like fresh food for the soul should. Walk over to the condiment table and you will be welcomed by a heaping tower of grilled onions, 3 different salsas, pico de gayo, jalapenos, pickled onions and more. The outside of the building is quaint and similar to postcard South American eatery. A painted sign is accented by a stand alone palm tree and a stump of one that past its glory days. Read moreme and my girlfriend are spending a few days in houston for a concert. we’re from waco and we both love mexican food. this place was exceptional. we ordered, i didn’t know what i wanted and i asked the guy taking our order what he recommended and he said the beef fajita. the tacos were pretty cheap, four tacos and two drinks were less than $20. after we ordered we sat down for like one or two minutes and then BAM our food was ready. we got the tacos and they were SOOOOOOOOOO yummy. they were classic street tacos and they had the perfect amount of proportions on a taco. perfect spice, meat, onions and cilantro. i got two tacos and it filled me up pretty good. overall i really enjoyed my experience eating here and people there were nice. the only bad thing is that we didn’t see the salsa bar and we missed out on all the salsa but it’s okay. very...

The order of 3 tacos had two full of meat and 1 that had very little meat. My spouse’s order had 4 tacos that were 2 full and 2 that little meat. At $3.50 a piece they could at least fill all the tacos. That’s the reason I buy there is because the tacos are always full.
On top of all of that the tacos made my spouse and I sick. The meat must have been bad and they sold it like that. Very bad business and I won’t be back. Next time I will get food in Houston instead of waiting just to get sick. Very...
