Honestly, I dislike having to give such a bad review, especially since the lady was so nice. This place had guayaba empanadas and I got very excited. When I grabbed the first one, I saw a dark spot. I grabbed the one behind it, a bigger darker spot. IT WAS MOLD! MOLD ON THE EMPANADA!! I can’t make this up.
She said they had left them two days, giving me the emphasis in “2 days”. When I go to a bakery, I expect fresh, daily made bread. Daily! I got some cajeta empanadas, I really wanted to let go of that mold issue, and not close myself to a possibility I had held on to, for a while every time I drove passed this place.
